What i hope they will improve from Crysis 2

I have a few suggestions and opinions in what i really, really hope they will improve from Crysis and Crysis 2.

Singleplayer:
I really liked Crysis 1's gameplay. You had the freedom that you needed. You can do it how you liked and there were plenty of stuff to fool around with. I laughed my butt off throwing chickens at the bad guys in Crysis Warhead or bichslapping them with a toiletbrush. There were so much freedom. I kind of lost that in Crysis 2 where there werent a lot of different stuff to do than following the story line. I like the easter eggs though. That was a very good detail.


Multiplayer:
There are a lot of things i would like to see made different in crysis 3.

Spamming:
I first of all hope they will skip the spammer weapons that some like but other truly hates.. L-tag. Im talking about you. It's impossible to play a few maps in a row without someone commenting on how annoying the L-tag is. (I didn't use it my self)
Might also the jackal. Having a stand-of with a Jackal was nearly impossible. you manage to shoot a few shots with your machinegun and then you are blasted down my a shotgun that shoots almost as fast as your gun. (Just my opinions though)

Not being able to kill and be killed at the same time:
Try it.. it's impossible. I have tried several times. 2 snipers standing x meters from eachother. We both shoot at the same time. Only one dies. You can even see in the killcam that when the bullet comes flying in your face there's your own gunflash. So you actually manage to shoot the bullet before dying but it just disappears. I have tried this with 2 computers, clicking both mouses at the same time, from different distances, different pings/maps. All the same.. It's impossible. Also. You cant melee someone at the same time. If you both hit eachother at the same time while in health critical only one of you will die. The other person might even see the little white lines that proves that you actually DID hit him. But nothing happens.

Expansions:
I must admit. I really like the DLC pack. (Besides that annoying overpowered FY71) But it's so sad that you had to pay for it. Because you had to pay not everyone bought it. I waited with a friend in a several DLC maps for more than an hour. (More than 5 times, both night and day) ONE single guy showed up and left shortly after. I paid to PLAY those maps! it's hard when not everyone even knows the exist. I hope they will make expansions free in Crysis 3.

Dog Tags / Rebooting:
This is one of the things that annoys me the most. First of all. Getting 500 headshots and 1000 kills with every weapon takes a very very long amount of time. I dont really care. then you have a reason to play.. But that all assessments reset after you reboot annoys me do death. I managed to have like 900 sniper kills, and a lot of kills in scarab and scar before i rebooted. i thought that you would keep it all for when you started and you could just start from where you left of. You couldnt. It made me sad. So long time getting all the kills, and then: "BAM! you wont keep it". It annoyed me to death. That's the reason i only got to level 2 reboot and then kind of quitted. It's just not worth it to play through 3 reboots more before you can begin actually getting dog tags.

I think that's about it. Remember, this is just my opinions. Feel free to say whatever you want in a CONSTRUCTIVE MANNER. Please do not flame worthless, give some convicing arguments if you disagree with any of this.
If i spelled anything wrong, then you dont have to point it out unless the sentence starts to mean something else because of a grammer-fail.
I will maybe add a few more things i would like to see improved, depending on how people react on this post. :)

And thanks for reading the entire post if you actually did read it. :D

I just want decent characters and a proper story for campaign. Crysis 2 felt like a multi-narrative plot with all but one of the secondary characters (and their respective interactions) cut out. Really weak.

I agree :) a better storyline would also make the game more entertaining. I think i played Crysis 1 singleplayer mode at least 5 times.

I hope they sort out the Melee in Multiplayer ~ it's way over powered.
Would also like to see Stealth Enhance removed or a decent counter for it (like Cloak Tracker further highlighting SE players).

they won't make map packs free. Not trying to flame you here, but why would they? If we see some map packs for c3, and they sell successfully (or just c3 in general) we MAY see one or two free map packs.

You have you never perma cloaked ownly to pop out of Cloak to kill someone to get energy back?

Any ways I think the way they could make there Modules less COD perk like is to allow you to use them in any combination. So some could be armor beast boy with Energy Transfer, Armor Enhanced, and Nano recharge.

While I would take Mobility Enhanced,Loadout Pro and Weapons Pro to super fast gunmaster. Would make this game more unique and a LOT more variety between player to player.

If you have Stealth Enhance 3, you can jump around people while in cloaked, and it's impossible to see them. This can be done without SE to some extent.

SE is bugged. Even though it's level 3 you can still see their shadows etc. I personally use SE level 3, and i have killed plenty of people that also used it. I have no problem seeing people in stealth at all. I see them the second they step into my screen. (Without using nanavision) O_o

what is with people talking about balancing the weapons?! have you people played COD? Crysis 2 has one of the best balancing.

what is with people talking about balancing the weapons?! have you people played COD? Crysis 2 has one of the best balancing.

Except the jackal and FY71 i find it quite balanced aswell. :D

what is with people talking about balancing the weapons?! have you people played COD? Crysis 2 has one of the best balancing.

Except the jackal and FY71 i find it quite balanced aswell. :D
I think the jackal is pretty balanced actually. I mean, as balanced as a semi-automatic shotgun can get anyway. The FY71 is pretty annoying when someone has a laser sight on it.

Another way of balancing weapons could be to bring back CS-esque "buying weapons" system that they had in Crysis 1, that way, you can simply make better weapons cost more. Problem solved

I don't know if it would work, but I'd like to see this system AND customizable classes.

I'm actually more scared that it will be better graphics on Crysis 3 but they will ruin the open world that was in Crysis 1 and a bit in Crysis 2...
Seems like as the graphics get better, the open world gets worse :\

This. It could lead to problems, but you could make some awesome loadouts to fit your style.

I'd probably take Armor E., mobility E. and weap pro or Aim enhance, as I run around like a goon trying to find quick firefights.
