What's important to you? SP or MP?

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 11:34 am

The title says it all.

IMO, I would say both.

Both are equally important for me because MP is where the competitive and/or fun side of Crysis 2, SP is where all the epic story/action is at

I don't like how you made the word "singleplayer" two words and left "multiplayer" as one. They both are one word, make the single player a single word: "Singleplayer" "Multiplayer" and add an exclamation mark (!) at the end of "Both are important".

I give multiplayer the edge. Singleplayer is where they get a chance to show off, and probably a big proportion of why we buy the game, but it's the multiplayer that keeps you coming back again and again.

Editing the options would very likely reset the poll.

Wow, very picky lol.

I pick multiplayer. I know some people actually say SP for re-playability, but I've never played a campaign again unless its like an RPG game with different storylines (Fable)

Both. Each cater to a different audience. Some people only play MP and some only SP. I'm just hoping the campaign is worthy of more then 2 play throughs and MP is balanced and they worked out the kinks with the networking...

To me it depends what game it is and who is making it. For Crytek is really has to be SP but since im getting bored for cod 4 for 3 years i hope MP is good and people keep playing it so i can play this game for ages :)

Multiplayer is what makes a game last but thats not to say you can completely neglect single player.

Actually sometimes multiplayer isnt what makes a game last, just have a look at Crysis 1 (of course XD) people came back to SP just because there was so much ways to finish the missions and the big one for me was the modders. Modders just add so much stuff to play around with even today i still occasionally play Crysis 1 for its replay abilities and how many mods are out there.

Although when a game is great on the MP side, SP wont be much of an requirement ;) but considering Crysis 2 has both great SP and MP, yea both are important for me :D

for me personally I would rather play the campaign first and then the multi player as I find multi player pretty much just an additional add on, to expand the life expectancy of a game, dont get me wrong I love the innovation and will be playing the multi player but I believe first and foremost my focus with this game will be with the Single Player as that is where all the story telling and innovation lays, it is also my reason for wanting the game =]

Both, hands down...

SP just cause SP in Crysis 1 /warhead was awesome, and i keep going back to **** up some korean dudes!

MP, cause it's where this game will live it's life, if it want a long life a good MP has to be there, and if the 360 beta was a sign of what to come... then i will play this one for a long time.

I mostly play Singleplayer, so that's most important to me, but I'll surely have a look at the MP as well.
