what just happened.. why did i buy this..?

Post » Fri Jun 13, 2014 9:25 am

So, this afternoon I was up at the mall to pick up a new Headset and a longer HDMI cord..

I am on my way out of the mall, and pass a Specialty Shop that specializes in various types of Tea..
in front of this Tea shop was an extremely attractive young woman, probably only a year or two younger than me..

she asked if I would like to sample some Tea.. now, I am not a big tea kinda guy (i prefer my Coffee), but when a girl that attractive asks if you want something, your impulse is to say "sure I'd be honored"..

so I drank this shot glass of tea, and she then tells me about how they carry "the world's rarest tea", to which I nod along..

about an hour later, I walk out of this shop with about $275 of tea stuff... and I am not a big fan of tea...

have you ever been enticed by a sales associate and ended up buying a product you did not want, nor will likely ever use?
or had a sales associate so Charismatic he convinced you to buy something you neither wanted nor will use?

Are you British? If so, then that is probably why you bought the tea... :P

M'aiq can't really say if he has been persuaded to buy something.

To the best of my knowledge, I've not given in to that kind of situation.

In fact, while getting an emrgency loan, I tactfully told them to [censored] off when they tried, and then tried to twist my arm, into purchaing "loan repayment insurance" on top of it.

However, I've been known to adjust my mocha purchase point due to wherever has the prettiest barrista ;)

You are not the first man to be duped by a pair of bewbs and nice legs into buying something you had no interest in.

On a more serious note, I'm a huge coffee drinker but I do also like tea. Drink the tea. You may like it.

Did you get the chick's number at least?

No but then I share an island with the Scots and their stingy ways have rubbed off on me and saving money will trump six in every situation.

I would be a dead man if I came home with $200+ in tea products.

And if the explanation why started with, "Well, there was this pretty girl..." I wouldn't even get a proper burial.

its all French to me

well, i guess this tea bonfire thing will at least look good in my backyard..

But 275 Dollars for Tea ????

You could just buy Tea, for 20 bucks perhaps...

----------

OK, it wasn't just tea. OK then. !!!

The Bride side: You have a nice Tea collection !!!!! :woot:
