During a loading screen in Bruma, it says that the buildings are styled after the Nords. This probably means most of the towns and cities we see in the game will be similar to Bruma. Personally I'm fine with this.
What kind of architecture would you want to see in Skyrim besides Nords/Bruma?

I'm really hoping that there is some variety. I don't want a game where everything looks the same. That's one reason I generally don't like snowy regions, all you can see is snow. Hopefully they find ways to make it gorgeous. I love the architecture in Bruma and want to see more, but hopefully there are other kinds as well.

EDIT: I hope we still see some of the buildings from Riften concept art in the final product, because that building we see in the screenshot looks very different (and IMHO better) to either of the styles in the art

The architecture IMO looks very different. Also each town seems to make better use of it's location more than in previous games, which I'm pretty excited about. Markarth is a good example of this.

I miss all of the strange citys from Morrowind, I think I remember a city that was mostly in hollowed out trees

But the concept art looks like some sort of Venice and Western town cross-over.

The architecture is like the one in Whiterun, as yo can look at the edges of the roofs, so I hope it is Whiterun, and Windhelm has a totally different house style.

They're barely at all alike beyond the similar Nordic influence, they're made of differnet materials, and they're not even in the same environment or location. Whiterun is in the middle of a tundra plain, this is in a snowy area next to a mountain.

How do you know thats Riften? And I think you've got Solitude and Riverwood mixed up... maybe.

Solitude was confirmed to be the city on the rock bridge in a magazine about a month ago, though I haven't been able to find the source lately. Additionally, much anolysis went into deciding that it was Solitude months ago, and I'm pretty damn confident.
Riverwood is named as such in the URL of the link as well as in the demo. That "Riften shot" is named as such on the official Bethesda site (though not in the particular version of the image I linked).

I believe that's Solitude.

Yes, and it's not a quiet little town. It's a major city with a busy port.
