A room where water slowly fills up a room.

You are given a few keys, the room is very tall and full of key holes. Some key holes are at the bottom while some are at the top which you can not reach. Match the ones with the bottom and when the water slowly fills up sim with it to the top to put in the last few keys.

First off, boobies, hahahaha. Yes, traps would add so much to the slightly stale and repetitive treasure hunting, and outwitting them should consist of more than hopping over a big spike pit or moving slightly to avoid a obvious pressure switch.

I really hope we're given the opportunity to 'set up traps'. As in you buy a trap kit, go between two trees and set it up so you can trap and kill enemies with it!

So there was this particularly well-endowed wench in the tavern... And then let's say that I succeeded in sweet talking her to get to know each other better in the backroom but in the end was failed to keep my virginal rectum intact.

Mouse traps in the cleavage? Poisoned nipbles? :woot: :meh:

Yeah, sorry, I don't really have anything substantial to add. However, they have said they've gone a long way with traps, so I expect there will be all kinds to avoid and use to your advantage. :woot:

Pressure plates, redstone dust, oh.. wait.. lol. I actually just want to be able to customize them myself at least a little and place them where I want.

Sinking sand, bogs that you sink into, breaking lava crusts, rotten logs crossing fast flowing rivers that break at midpoint when walking across them :), nets that fling up as you step on the center, foothold traps that clamp on your leg (actually i would hate that), snares, giant web taps (have to light on fire to get loose, makes a use of actually having a torch), deadfall traps, I would enjoy seeing something like when exploring a dungeon you enter a room and accidentally trip a pressure plate that closes the doors and fills the room with a knockout gas, when passing out you see masked bandits coming in and caring you away, completely side tracking your current quest, when you wake up your somewhere completely foreign and the bandits are going through your stuff, what do you do? kill them and take your stuff back, Duh!, thats what i want to see, just saying!

It would be funny if they had a trap that dropped you into a pit where you slid into a chute that eventually shoots you out a hole in the side of some cliff where you land in a pile of bones and rusty armor. Then you'll be thinking... oh wow I got banned / booted from that dungeon and then some hideous creature comes out of the woods. :whistling:

maybe instead of instant kill traps, because people would only be inconvienced if they didn't save recentally, the traps did something different. like dropping you down a hole, possibly crippling your legs, and you have to fight or at least navigate your way back up. or you step on a pressure plate and the door closes behind you and you have to figure out how to get out. or you trip a wire and boltholes open up and bandits charge out, or zombies etc. or poison darts that make you hallucinate and you cant tell friend from foe, like it knocks you to the ground and when you get up everyone looks like someone else. and standard traps instead of killing you could do dmage to your health and maybe cause you to bleed or cripple a part of you. then you could have your standard damaging traps that you can turn around on the enemy, just no instant kill traps.

Bear trap. And I mean Big Ol' Mythic Man Eating sized bear traps. It would make a LOT of sense for them to be scattered about. But I want them to actually break your foot/ankle/shin, and your movement is limited until you break the chain or clamp. Then you'd need to heal yourself or limp around.

Heh, imagine running from a dragon, when BAM! You get stuck in a bear trap, and your thinking "Ooooooh Shiiiiii~!" or better yet, the dragon gets caught and cant fly anymore, so you just pew pew for an hour till hes dead, or just run away freely.

As for more creative traps, i'd like a tip of the hat Star Wars reference, like maybe a quest in which you have to go to a Keep to save a princess, but when you go there to negotiate with the (lets just say Orc/Argonian named "Hut"), he open a trap floor to a pit with a giant in it that you have to kill like Luke Skywalker. But I digress...
