Probably an opportunistic Bosmer stealth character. After that, I try out some other races/classes. Perhaps towards the beginning, I will use a few characters to do guilds, quests etc... to get to know the game, and proceed with the MQ with whichever character I like the best.

A righteous thief, most likely. I hope Skyrim actually gives me incentives to using lighter armors and smaller weapons.

Same as always, stealthy archer/thief Bosmer, with a touch of magic.

I've tried to mix it up every time, but I keep going back to it.

I'm always the kind of character that's pretty bad. I always break into stuff and steal everything in places. And then I eventually start killing off some people so yeah...pretty evil guy right here.

My first character will be a Dumner huntsman, who while hunting in Cyrodil, hear the cries of the death of his people, now journey towards Skyrim to try to find his destiny...

I'll probably an Imperial Ranger-type character, short blade and bow specializations, some restoration and alchemy too. Living off the land, but might own property in some cities. In Oblivion I made an imperial who was a knight but learned the skills of a ranger from a mentor in Skyrim, his birthplace. I might make him a descendant of that mentor

I was thinking of going with my sneaky Bosmer mage/thief again, but now, I kind of want to change things up...

Maybe a Breton born under the atronach that specializes in melee and laughs at mages?

As usual, probably an Stealthy Imperial Archer, keep a small sword for the ones who don't go down quick enough. restoration always a plus. Alchemy for profit and the tougher ones.

Be a good guy, usually am.

after reviewing the trailer again, i am wondering if no matter what race you choose, your character is the "dragonborn"?

or maybe the dragon born is the big bad guy we will have to fight..

Axel Bear-Claw, the Nord, is preparing himself for his new epic adventure (though perhaps someone should tell him that he's a year early).
He is a Barbarian Nord that loves the cold, and killing in cold blood. Armed with his trusty, hopefully, spear; and if not, an axe!

ROAR.

I was thinking the dragon born is akin to martin septim, and we as the pc act kind of like a, for lack of a better term, 'sidekick' to him.

Oh the same kind that I usually play....a stealthy character who prefers the bow and dagger or short sword routine. No sense risking your own hide when you can kill them before they know that you're there!

As for alignment...how about chaottic good to possibly chaotic greedy

For my first character I think it would be only fitting to make a nord barbarian or warrior being its skyrim. For my second character probably a dunmer assassin. I usually pick from pre-made classes. I was never one for namining my class battlemage and giving him sneak, security and acrobatics.

Leaning towards a Nord fighter.
It will either be a Nord Viking Warrior or a Nord Shieldmaiden... As I'm not sure about my character's gender yet.
Of course I might also randomly play as whatever I want once I get the game... But this is what I'm thinking of now.

My first character is a Nord who doesn't have much going for him. Until 11/11/11
I don't plan on using magic this playthrough and save that for later ones.

Usual jobs as a Shark or bounty hunter.
Also spends sometimes out in the wilderness.

Remember how they say most Nords are fair and tall? He is going to be short and scruffy.

Fernon the Vermin

Blunt -one handed axe
Polearms (plz)
Athletics
Alchemy
Stealth

Something like that

My first character was always male-sneaky character named Braham. But it seems I will make another character that is female-sneaky (as usual)-nord character

A hearty, solitary Nord, braving the conditions, trying to survive and occasionally saving Nirn :)

I have a selection of several characters, from which I can choose by now:

I.) Rev, canabalistic Wood Elfen female. She's on the outside very sweet, caring and naive, but her true side is cruel, murderous and cunning. By all means evil. Her biggest weakness is her great curiousity. In a fight she's acting like a ferocious animal.
Her skills: Athletics, Acrobatics, Light Armor, Marksman, Sneak, Blade (in Morrowind: Short and Long), Security, (Alchemy)

II.) Kyandi, charismatic psychotic Nord, interrogation specialist. He does the dirty work and likes to play with the minds of others. He's very smart and playfull for a Nord, yet a skillfull and strategic fighter. He's not the kind of guy that takes pleasure in mindless killing or torturing others. Kyandi's a very honorable and loyal man.
His skills: Illusion, Mysticism, Destruction, Speechcraft, Blade(in Morrowind: Short and Long), (Spear), (Unamored) / Athletics, Conjuration, Alteration

III.) Zephyra, mostly Nord/ Redguard or Breton, serious Battlemage, mistress of war, a silent one, believes that a calm focus of mind is essential to win a fight, takes pride in her fighting skills, in contrast to her stern and serious character - she's often comes of as a very compassionate, gentle and nice young lady.
Her skills: Axe / Blunt, Heavy Armor, Destruction, Mysticism, Alteration, Restoration, Alchemy, (Armorer), (Enchant), (Spear)

1) Josian Townway, naive young Imperial. His father was a famous adventurer and he has spent most of his life helping his father sell the spoils of his adventures. He's good with Speechcraft and Barter and has a little training with Blades and Block. Uses Light Armor because he's not really a warrior.

2) Jollring Regner, name is kind of in the works, a big warrior Nord. Uses a claymore. Son of a famous warrior, expected to be a great warrior. Has failed thus far to meet those expectations. Blades, Armorer, Heavy Armor, Destruction (Th'um) and Alchemy

3) Dahnk gro-Bisnuh, ugly ugly Orc. Uses a Warhammer, but is more given to Alchemy, Conjuration, and Mysticism. Truthfully spends most of his time wandering around in the wild. Wears Heavy Armor if he's getting into battle but usually just normal clothes.
