As many probably have said: MW style. Bloodmoon and Tribunal was good. Some minor ones like OB would be fine if they charged reasonable for them as well.
Edit: Shivering Isles was good too.

Personally, I would prefer 2-3 large expansions that are sold seperately. More realistically I would happily settle for 2-4 Mehrunes Razor to Knights of the Nine sized DLCs leading up to a large Shivering Isles sized expansion that would be sold seperately in stores. If they insist on doing homes, I hope that they combine them all into one pack, or attach them to a related DLC, such a small set of quests dealing with smuggling with a smugglers den type "home" as a part of it.

I want new lands to explore, something like Bloodmoon. Hell why not bloodmoon again, would be interesting to revisit parts of older games for once (never done before in TES as far as I know)

I want DLC that takes place in OTHER provinces. That way, while the main chunk of the game takes place in Skryim, we can experience the other provinces in small doses just for fun. That would also give a different flavor to the DLCs and make it feel like less of the same. Since almost all of the lore is already well established, it shouldn't be too difficult to craft some kind of questline to go with another province.

I just want them to make sure that when after they are done with dlc, they come out with expansion packs with all the dlc, because I dont do live on xbox, because of its being on ship with me all the time.

DLC? None, that's just consumer milking and I don't support it a bit. Expansions? Not likely, would have to suit me perfectly, and I'm too picky. Standalones? Sure, no problems supporting this, as long as it provides a lot of content, and I can get it in an actual store (key issue for me).

I think BIS did it pretty good with their Arma2 OA DLCs. All the engine upgrades and some of the content of DLCs are free to everyone by normal patching (to avoid alienating non buyers from multiplayer sessions splitting the gamers and modders community). You can even play one of the DLCs missions (not sure if this was intentional), but with reduced texture sizes and voices. Not sure if this would work out equally well for a singleplayer game though.

Suffice to say, BIS earned a *lot* of respect by this move, even from me, and I was already a "really devoted fan". I really can't say the same about BGS so called horse armor "DLC". Then again, I'm not sure if respect pays the bills. It felt really low, it's like charging your best friend a fare when you drive him/her home - it's just below low. Unworthy, really...

I love full game-expanding expansions, not just smallish DLC.

This.

More spells. If they created a dozen or so unique spells (a la Midas' Magic), I'd pay a couple bucks for it.

I'd really rather they just figure out a way for the consoles to get mods, seeing as how their DLC is probably little more than an EPS file with media files.

I gotta agree with the majority here, Expansion packs are the way to go. Sure, they take a long time to develop and aren't as massively accessible (DLC's are much cheaper), but the consumer gets more bang for their buck.

I would like something like shivering isles which is almost a full game in itself.

For me none , i dont have internet :brokencomputer:

Beside's that. i can see a trend happening with DLC, where companies are taking out content from the origanol game - at then selling as DLC. :goodjob:

but Exapansion pack's are a good idea.
