I killed a vampire assassin and upon her death, she had that blue effect that summoned Atronachs/Dremora Lords have when they die or expire. Then this happened:

I was also completely invisible in third-person. I tried reloading, turning the game off, etc. It always happened when I killed any of those specific vampires. I was forced to delete them with console commands, *sigh*

It's weird. I've been getting some annoying glitches today too and 2 or 3 crashes. Most annoying was the 40 gold bounty I got outside of Windhelm for killing imperials while wearing Stormcloak officer armor because imperials don't recognize stormcloak armor and then after losing 4 hours of progress because the Windhelm guards wouldn't accept a yield and kept on trying to kill me everytime I was near Windhelm.

Do you mean that blue effect from necromancy? It being on dead corpses? I've had that. Never seen what's in the picture though.

No. The one Dremora and Atronach summons have when dieing. The sparkly thing. It was as if the vampire was summoned like a Daedra, but her body was there. The sparkly effect then jumped on me, and then the visual glitch in the pic occured.

i agree that these bugs are annoying, i have no dlc's or mod's my game is 100% vanilla and i've been getting random crashes to desktop and one or two freezes and during the civil war quest line i've had a few ctd's (crash to desktop) i also had missing textures that radomily happened after a long session.

but i also had a few funny glitches as well most of them involved dead dragon's falling from the sky (one of them was a dragon skeleton that gave me it's soul).

could a mod be causing the issue?
