What kind of heavy armor fits a Bosmer best

Post » Fri Sep 20, 2013 10:50 pm

So I started playing a Female Bosmer Dual Wielding Warrior a couple days ago and started smithing. Now I am stuck wondering what kind of heavy armor fits her. Iron seems to fit her the most, but it is sort of annoying fighting in iron armor until i can max it out. Anyone have any ideas? I Have Dragonborn and Dawnguard as well.

...none fit really...

The Bosmer are Natural Archers and Thieves... as such they don't use Heavy Armor very often...

However if I had to pick, Ancient Nord or maybe Blades armor would look the "least" out of place...

Yeah i Know, i got the idea for the heavy armored Bosmer warrior from the ESO Bosmer heavy armor concept art. I actually tried Ancient nord, and while it did look okay it did not really seem "Heavy". Yet to try the Blades though, will try it when i get to the temple.

when you try the blades armor, leave the helmet off...

the armor looks decent on Bosmer, but when wearing the helmet it just makes them look... odd...

That's like saying all Americans are overweight and don't exercise very often. It's a stereotype. It's not true of every Bosmer, nor is it true of every American.

OP, what about Stalhrim? (did I spell that right?)

From what i can tell on the uesp, that might actually work though it will take awhile to get since i am not planning to do either of the DLC until after the MQ.

no reason to start up a racial Argument, and what I said is part of lore... look at the starting Stat bonus's they are given.. and go read the UESP page on them...

and I don't think Stalhrim would look overly pleasing on a Bosmer... then again, I don't think Stalhrim looks good in general...

http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:BrodrasSolitudian has a good point.

I wanted to say Dragonbone, but that's late-game stuff and your mileage may vary whether it suits a Wood Elf.

I like it because organic material, but it probably doesn't look good to most people.

No one was denying that. You just make it sound like it's all they can be and all that they are willing to be.

Please get back on topic, or at least on a topic that would not get anyone in trouble.

I would go with Chitin or Bonemold.
Sure, they are Dunmer made, but at least they are made by mer instead of man. (better for roleplaying)

My thoughts exactly.

It's probably the way I read it. I dunno.

Crap, I knew I was forgetting some "organic" armor. For some reason I'm leaning towards Chitin. Maybe it's the way Modyn Veleth looked in it. Part of me also wants to say Steel armor but that's probably because of the ESO armors.

Wood Elves...:yuck:

I really don't see them wearing Heavy. They're too fragile.

But if you had to choose...nope. I personally can't think of any.

Seriously though, I have no idea. Most heavy armor in the game fits more for humans, particularly the Nords, than the Mer and Beast races. I'd say Pluto has a point for using the Dunmer armor.

Heavy Dawnguard looks good on almost anyone. Even a Bosmer wears it. Beleval I believe is her name.
