I fix computers at a major computer repair chain housed within a major electronic store chain in the US. Best part: I get to wear a tie!

Started out just scanning documents for an Optometry. It's grown to doing pretty much all the IT infrastructure and security for them. I also get consulting work for other Optometries in the area occasionally where I help them with two popular patient database and record management systems. Either setting it up, using new features, or upgrading to newer versions.

I just wish I had a budget beyond "This computer just caught fire, we need to replace it or someone won't have a computer". There's been times where I've brought in my own old hardware from home to patch something up until we get a replacement.

Oh, I'm an actor. Just haven't come in any movies yet. Or shows, or commercials, or ermm, anything... But that's besides the point!

Casual labor at a printing company. Folding instruction manuals, CD covers, sealing envelopes, etc. Trips to Chicago are the best. It's a bit of a drive, so there's lots of doing nothing and then a good 30 minutes of heavy lifting. Then more doing nothing.

It's only a few days every other week though, so not a whole lot of monies coming in.

well a job is a job dude! At the moment, you should be happy with any kind of job you get since they are so hard to find. The only way I found one was on my college's website link that offers a spot for businesses to put wanted adds up, and it took ever since last august for me to find a job.

I can't wait to start tomorrow! My job will consist of-

Helping shear the alpacas (shave them basically haha)

Clip their toenails

Feed them

Pick up their poop

Help break in the new born babies

and the part i am really not sure about yet is helping BIRTH the babies... I hope I don't vomit...

So basically I am an Alpaca's maid... I should put on my facebook Employment Spot "An Alpaca Slave." That will look awesome on a resume!

My job is to stare at goats.
Actually I'm unemployed at the moment. I've been thinking of joining the army and going to Afghanistan, but I think it's not really my job.

I am a geologist.
I work for an oil and gas services company providing software, support and information management services to oil and gas exploration and production operations. More specifically, I am taking care at developping relations between west african national oil companies and my own company. I am based in Lagos (Nigeria) for the moment, waiting impatiently for a transfer in Accra (Ghana). I travel most of my time through these various countries from Senegal to Sao Tome.
I don't complain, it's a cool job.

I'm a composer. I write music for a living.

Thats a fancy way of saying I'm un-employed :P

Life wasn't always this rosie. I used to work as a Corporate Live Events Technician, 90+ hours per week. It broke my body and my mind.

Now I enjoy a simple life :)

Let's see....I used to be a dishwasher....then I worked in a factory for 31 years....now my wife thinks I've been a housekeeper for the last three years....
So that makes me a dishwasher again.
I've come full circle.

I do media research for an advertising company so get paid to basically spend all day learning about science and engineering. As a little aside though I make and sell cupcakes. Unfortunately, though I'd love to do this fulltime, there's just too many people doing the same thing at the moment.

I work in the semiconductor industry. I work with the photolithography equipment that are part of the process that creates the wafers of microchips. They are huge, incredibly complicated pieces of equipment that cost anywhere from $60-120 million each.

I have this job where I sit on my butt all day and look for work. The pay is crap but I can do it from home. I do have a recurring job at a drive-in theater from next month into late september.

I've been going to school for an English degree in hopes of teaching. I've had to take breaks for various reasons though. Meanwhile, I've been working at Home Depot. For anyone who isn't familiar with Home Depot, it's a hardware store. Think Wal-Mart, but with building supplies and the like. I work at the Service Desk, which means I answer all of the phone calls, deal with returns, Home Depot credit accounts, customer orders, and getting cursed out by customers. I like it for the most part, but sometimes it can be a drag.
