How much?

I'm unemployed. Only 16, about to be 17. Too busy with school to worry about work.

I'm a contract graphic designer currently being outsourced by Interscope records...currently working for a senior publicist there. Its been a gig thats paid the bills most of the time. I got it from an artist on the label that I met on myspace back when it used to be useful. Thats how I gained a lot of clients. :)

Aspiring author, hit a bit of a road bump in productivity recently. Waiting for a genetic test to see if everything is going to be alright.

I used to work in the commercial sign industry (design, production, installation). Not street signs, but all other types (vehicle wraps, dimensional lobby signs, etc...), but I quit that last August, because I am a full time grad student. Already did an unpaid internship, and am now working on my final research project in the field that I plan on working in, which is design research.

I used to work as a glazier (making and installing windows, glass doors, mirrors, etc.) but I quit because of terrible work conditions in the "workshop". And also, as a kid I once worked on a blueberry field supervising people who picked blueberries, I used to have fantasies about my boss but they aren't very forum appropriate. :poke:

Still 15 and turning 16 on May 2. It's not worth looking for a job yet so I'll just wait until I turn 16 to go job searching, I'll apply everywhere within walking distance from my house.

Cool, I was thinking about doing that too but I want to buy some fairly expensive things right now but since you don't get paid for that (right?), I'll hold it off until after my junior year. I also unfortunately won't be able to work during the school year since I'll be taking 4 AP classes (AP Calc AB, AP Calc BC, AP Psychology, and AP Biology) as well as Physics Honors (I'll take the AP of that later, maybe) I will most likely not have time for much else.

Oh wow, that sounds like quite a road bump indeed. Hope everything turns out well.

As for myself, I teach guitar lessons.

I'll pay you anything to eat the children that I teach

I'm working as a tutor right now and working on getting my teaching credentials.

Unfortunately the worst part of the job (and also the best) is the students :P

Hopefully I'll be starting my first job in several months some time next week. I'll be bagging trees and loading them onto trucks and stuff.

Medicinal chemist. I synthesize chemical compounds in a long and often frustrating attempt to find molecules that could potentially become drugs.

I work part-time at Tip Top Tailors currently, a men's clothing chain in Canada. I am a clothing salesman, selling suits and ties and shirts and pants.

Before that I was a teacher's assistant and besides selling clothes evenings and weekends I am a full-time student, getting a degree in history and English, then eventually education.
