What kind of TV will you play on?

24" BenQ 1080p LCD. I wouldn't even want any bigger as I watch it from so close distance.

Got my PC hooked up to a 48" Panasonic Plasma.

Thinking of getting a new Graphics Card when release time nears. Using an 8800GTS which plays OB on max but I'm not sure if it will play Skyrim on max or not until I know the specs and how far they are pushing the PC version.

I still remember the first day I got my plasma TV..and just playing Mass Effect 1 on the Xbox...Amazing.

Gone are those days...my TV doesn't impress me anymore. There are nicer ones on the market. Do I need one to play Skyrim? Probably not.

a 50 inch high definition 3D TV. Hopefully they put skyrim in 3D if thats not in 3D im going to be mad. From the look of the game that being in 3D would be absolutely insane. oh yeah and with surround sound as well...I plan on playing the game during my winter break so i'll be home...once im off to college i'll be playing on a small 16 inch HDTV...which svcks...

I'll be in my man-cave all weekend playing Skyrim on my 55 inch. Samsung with surround sound. Playing OB is so (censored) epic on it!! CANNOT WAIT TO PLAY SKYRIM ON IT!!!

I think I might have the same tv as you, not sure of the exact size, but I think it's 55". My parents gave me their old one after they got the even more gigantic 3d tv.

I think mines a 42 inch Plasma. It isent so much the TV thats awesome as the room its in. The room has a thick green carpet with 2 layers of underpadding, all the lights are orange, it has two http://www.cornichon.org/Traqeze%20clipart.jpg lowerd so we can sit on them like swings. And a moving colourful party light that I don't use while playing games.

didn't i already destroy your hippy themed paradise? now you starting a circus one? well hold on... lemme boot up oblivion.....

Im actually saving up to buy a bigger tv for my room in preperation for Skyrim. If not for this game I wouldnt bother, but atm I have a 19", so im upgrading to a 32" 1080p LCD. Definitely not a bad size considering my room is small. Now i'll be able to play from my bed!

eyefinity?

Sorry, didn't realise someone had responded to my post way back...

Eyefinity is just the name AMD gave to the ability to use one or more 5000 or 6000 series Radeon graphics cards to play across multiple monitors (up to 6 or so, if you have the right card or cards, I believe). The corresponding Nvidia feature is... Surround, I think? Or 3D Surround maybe. Anyway, with that one, you always need at least two graphics cards, in SLI mode probably. That would be the major, or maybe only, diffference.

The setup I'll have is 3 Full HD IPS (better off-angle viewing, basically) monitors side by side, to create a panoramic kind of view. I think the FoV (field of view, for example in Oblivion.ini) setting will be modified for this, suffice it to say. :P

With these monitors, I could also try, say, 3240x1920 instead (three in portrait mode, side by side).

Thin bezels are nice for these purposes, btw, in case anyone's considering it.
