Two 24 inch LED monitors.

How does that work? Can you keep a map or item screen open on the second screen? Could be interesting.

Hmmm... maybe I could set my PC up in the living room, with the 50" Full HD plasma TV, and the awesome home-made 5.1 surround system.
I probably won't, but I have the possibility. :P

wont there be an incredible lag on that?
and even if you do get it up to any size you want you will lose the resolution after a while

when skyrim comes out I am sneaking into best buy and hooking my computer up to all of their tvs

Projectors have questionable quality though, especially the larger the screen is. I would personally rather play on a smaller TV with high quality, rather than a larger with a lack of.

27' monitor at TRUE 1920x1080 (or 1920x1200, if I can find a nice one which supports that resolution). Not 720 / even less or fake scaled up 1080 like (most probably) consoles will have :)

I have to agree with you on the AWESOMENESS of HD projectors

I use an http://www.amazon.com/Optoma-HD20-Definition-Theater-Projector/dp/B002G0CWSU connected to my laptop via HDMI cable

(projects the image on my wall at about 96 inches tall x 168 inches wide)
