What kinds of dragon do you want?

Post » Thu Aug 19, 2010 2:17 am

a single type of dragon would be boring. tes lore has said nearly nothing about dragons, so a large amount of freedom should be there. firstly i think that dragons should range from the size of an elephant, to the size of a castle!

perhaps there could be dragons that prefer swiming to flying and live in the seas and larger rivers of skyrim? they would have a more fishlike appearance and would terrorise the waters. they would still speak the language .
here is an example

But perhaps we can have a type of dragon that partial burrys itself, pretends its something else and jumps out of the ground to ambush you?

anyways- a singular design would not be good, and with the normal dragons- could they atleast have different heads?

I think its safe to assume that most dragons in Skyrim will be the kind that you know , fly. If there are large water creatures, I dont want them to say, oh its just a dragon who swims, nay! I want sea serpents/kraken, monsters of the deep!

There are going to be different types of Dragons, but i assume they will b different kinds of the classic flying dragon.

If we have to kill ~20 dragons to gain dragon shouts, I don't want to see the same strategies being applied for each and every one of them. More variations for scripted mini-bosses like http://www.google.com.sg/imglanding?q=lodoss+thunder+dragon&um=1&hl=en&tbs=isch:1&tbnid=8g0WAo45d-wc2M:&imgrefurl=http://members.fortunecity.com/samhain13/lodoss/dragons.htm&imgurl=http://members.fortunecity.com/samhain13/lodoss/e-dragon.jpg&ei=q7VgTcWkBISqrAeq35CtAQ&zoom=1&w=300&h=225&iact=rc&oei=q7VgTcWkBISqrAeq35CtAQ&page=1&tbnh=152&tbnw=203&start=0&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:0&biw=1600&bih=785, two headed dragon, or dragon with feathers or furs.

I want a dragon so large (maybe Alduin) that it's body causes a shadow to fall across everything in sight as it blocks the sun. The dragon should be pitch black and make me stare at the sky in disbelief for about 20 minutes as "O.H. M.Y. D.A.E.D.R.A. L.O.R.D." slowly spills out of my mouth.

Also the head on the right, I want undead dragons as well
