So what do we know from them? why the physiological difference from Crysis to Crysis 2?(the history reason, not to make "gameplay" better).

What do they want? are they really trap on Earth? is there coming back up from the Ceph?

They want to kill humans. They have been on Earth for 2 milion years.
And the reason they changed so much from Crysis 1 to Crysis 2 is because the Ceph in C1 were in their original form, while the Ceph in C2 adapted to Earth to easier kill humans.

On the other hand i m confuse, the ceph in C2 seem to be made of Human genetic material like the ships, or thats how it look like.
