Id love to know the definitive amount from Oblivion. If it really is something like 30 then Skyrim dworfs it in spell effects which means no more same effect just different color for everything

Maybe some spells for transformation will be in. Maybe... or you can just play a Nord or Orc, they're big enough.

Agree, although my affirmation about transformation spells is just a joke. If we get on from Morrowind and Oblivion, we won't have such spells, just summoning.

Isn't Alduin just the Nordic name for Akatosh?

Why would Akatosh want to destroy Tamriel?

Because he's the world eater, the god of the beginning and the end.

It seems you guys are right, but still, Akatosh helped Martin to restore balance in Tamriel and now he's upset?

Well actually Akatosh is the god of time. Lorkhan would be more the God of the Beginning. I'm pretty sure that it really isn't Akatosh trying to destroy the world seeing as Akatosh and the other divines can't alter anything in the world. The avatar of akatosh was only possible by focusing Akatosh's power through martin, thus being the avatar but he can't physically touch the world himself. It may be some echo of Akatosh or some shade of his power that was left behind after he finished the work of creating Nirn and was forever removed from the planet.

Ok, the UESP does some good here: Alduin is the Nordic variation of Akatosh, and only superficially resembles his counterpart in the Eight Divines. For example, Alduin's sobriquet, 'the world eater', comes from myths that depict him as the horrible, rauaging firestorm that destroyed the last world to begin this one. Nords therefore see the god of time as both creator and harbinger of the apocalypse.

So, we could say nords see a different version of Akatosh, maybe more bent on destruction.

I appreciate that you've managed to put together a list of just the facts. The other topic has too many assumptions and people's theories in it. Keep up the good work.

On the map in the video, the following cities and regions are definitely in the game:

- Riften
- Windhelm
- Whiterun
- Solitude
- Eastmarch, in eastern Skyrim, described as "volcanic tundra"
- Rift, in southeastern Skyrim, described as "fall forest"

Eastmarch and Rift appear to be large regions, not cities, in case that wasn't clear.
