Nothing has been said about this, though assuming they speak at all (We know they don't always attack you on sight, but I don't recall it ever being confirmed that you can speak to them.) I'd guess English, or whatever language you play the game in if you have a translated version. Bethesda already went out of the way to create one new language for Skyrim for dragons, a task which can't be simple, and that's for a race that will play a very important role in the game's story, I doubt giants would get that kind of attention too.

Traditionally, giants are portrayed as being big people who use small words...

Very small words...

I imagine they will talk like supermutants, or just communicate through grunts

It's similar to the language used by the goblins (read: they won't speak), but if they do it will be Crydiilic just like every other intelligent race on Tamriel, solely for the purpose of us understanding everything that is said.

Barring them bringing back or making up Giantish, I hope they speak Cyrodiilic, and don't sound like a bunch of slow-witted dopes. There's no reason a giant can't sound like just a deep-voiced person of average or above intelligence.

They will probably take the place of ogres in this game. I'd be surprised if they used an actual language outside of grunts and roars.

As you can gather from the responses, NO NO ONE KNOWS.........

a little Title rewording would go along way from making presumptions before replying to your thread.

instead of asking if anyone knows, how about what do you think they will speak.

Also Dwarves is a term used by Giants, If the word dwarves did not originate from the Giants (if these are the same Giants) then we can simply say they speak english and nothing more.

They will sit around sipping tea whilst conversing in Olde' English about how dreadful the Northern Tamrielic bee keeping industry has become.
