What Level have YOU personally achieved

Post » Mon Dec 05, 2011 10:50 am

All,

I am trying plan perks. I am wondering what level YOU have achieved so far, just by playing. I dont mind strategies where you level up crafting or easy stuff, since I want to actually level those. But I am not talking about that 4 hour method for hitting level 81 over on the spoilers forum.

No, I am just wondering what level YOU have achieved, and maybe info about how, and how long it took, so that I can guage my own playstyle in comparison, and maybe figure out how many perks I personally think I will be able to stand earning. :)

Thanks.

Level 25
35 hours
Perks in One-Handed, Smithing, Block, and Heavy Armor.
Joined Companions, Stormcloaks, but still far from finishing any.
I'm basically a Warrior who really likes shields :P
And I only focus on those 4 skills, nothing else... I got 74 in one handed, 59 in block, 64 in Heavy Armor, and 50 smithing

I'm at level 24 with a Sword and Shield warrior, but I'll be starting over soon. I found that I was using sneak and bow way too much and figured if I'm going to use it all the time I might as well build my character around those skills.

Hmm. I was hoping people who were level 50-60 might exist and tell me that it wasnt too tedious. :) But I guess most people are in the 20s. I am level 23 myself, with 33 hours played. Guess I need to step it up. :)

Thanks

Wow. Very cool. Was the process tedious?

Thanks!

Man, I've got like 44 hours in, but only level 8, haha. I keep remaking characters and trying something else out. The same thing happened to me on Oblivion and Morrowind and it took me years to finish them.

Nice! Yeah, after hitting level 23 on my dual dagger orc gal, I did some alting too. But now I want a character that is a mage-assassin. 1handed 10 perks, sneak 12 perks, conjuration 10 perks, destruction 9 perks, light armor 9 perks, enchant 8 perks, smithing 8 perks.

So I would like go get to level 67 to get them all. I just wonder how tedious it will be. I hear monsters dont scale above level 53, even if I do, but I wonder if my destruction will be useless at that point. Or if DLC will push things up later, which could screw me if I did my stats poorly.

Anyway. :(

You could get leel 50-60 easy.

Just go into a room ith a NPC you can kill over and over. Usually they die and come back 30-60 seconds later. If you get a room of 2-3 NPC's you be good and in a few hours.

If you fight a city guard as long as you don't take his gear he will rise again as well. But these guys are not as easy as NPC's. I played 50 hours. but am lvl 25. Most of what is wandering around, and figuring out controls.

Went lvl 11-18 off a few npcs in college of whitehelm.

Opening with a great axe, then dual casting magic if the monster is alive after your stanima is gone is fun!!!

Look over in the spoilers forum. There is a guide to hitting max level in 4 or so hours.

Just hit lvl 19 (assassin) and about 55-60 hours in. Only did three quests of the MQ and completed the DB quest line. Did some quests from the miscellaneous section but no other major quests. Most of my playtime though, I spend time hunting, gathering mats and exploring. One perk to go in sneak, and I got some in one-handed and archery.

Edit: Also no fast travel and I rarely use a horse.

I have a level 54 and a 46... but the character I have the most hours in is only level 23.

Why don't I believe this...?

I've got 66 hours since release, minimal amount of reloads, playing one below the highest difficulty. Female Nord Warrior that's only a level 35.

That's playing every day, from 6pm until 2am in the morning on work nights, and last weekend (release weekend) Friday 17:30 until 0500 Saturday, then 13:00 to 0500ish Sunday. Sunday afternoon 1300 to 0200 Monday morning...

SO... let's say he spent 1/2 the time I did.

I managed 66 hours in 7 days. At level 35 that's an average of 2 levels per hour. So, he's got a total of 123 levels x 2 that's 246 hours, Half that is 123 hours, which divided by 7 days that the game has been out is 17.6 hours a day!?

I don't think so... No break times at all other than sleep? I don't buy it.

I am unemployed until January and playing over 16 hours a day, everyday. I powerleveled too much on my 2 high characters while my level 23 has used no exploits or glitches...

ALSO, you can hit level 81 in 4ish hours... so anything is possible.
