What little things would you add?

Nothing I want can be considered "small", unfortunately.

Having lots of fun, and lots of annoyance.

I suppose the smallest thing I'd want is "slower leveling with larger benefits". ie, double what a level is worth, and cut the pace in half.

I would add this:
*More details on a blade or armor once it's upgraded to "Legendary", making it more unique.
*Spellmaking, I miss it.

Ability for companions to ride on your horse behind you and/or have their own horse.

I want a hardcoe mode like FNV. Fishing would be nice too. (With a pole). Id love to see some DLC that would allow you to start your own guild and make characters for it and send then out on quests. I wish I could experience all type of character classes, but I dont have the time to start 5 new games, making a guild , and creating characters that you can use that are different from your own would add inmense replay value IMO. I think its lame that you end up as the leader of every guild you encounter in TES, after a few minor quests. I wouldnt hurt if you could send out two characters at once and switch between them.

I'd also like to get more interaction with your wife/husband, like being able to kiss & hug etc. Would be really cool if you could make kids as well, wouldn't have to nessasarly show anything. Maybe just have something like an option to have kids yes or no, then the screen fade to black and come back on the next morning with you & your wife/husband next to the bed like how when you go to sleep normaly.
I would also like to see an air bar for when under water and fire damage when you go into bonfires etc.
Fishing would be good as well as a hard core mode similar to Fallout New Vegas, where you would have to eat/sleep. Would make doing stuff like cooking less pointless, and have some beter recipies that make you able to cook progresivly better foods.

filtering our items by weight, value.
Adding the same menu sections in our owned containers inside our houses. Going through a giant list is annoying
icons letting us know what effects are on us now.
something telling us when our daily power is ready. I hate checking in the menu just to see if its white or grey.

I've never seen anything like this in a game, but it'd be nice if items had their value per pound displayed beside them. I find it a little annoying to be making my way through a dungeon and have to scroll through all the loot I've picked up and mentally calculate which objects I should drop to make room for lighter/more valuable ones. Like, should I keep the nine-pound armour worth 197 septims or replace it with the eleven-pound armour worth 216? Decisions, decisions.
It'd also make things easier if instead of going through individual ingredients at the alchemy table and adding them together one by one, the game would save the recipes you'd found to be good and give you the option to click on the potion name to craft it. Maybe even give you the option to favourite the potions you craft most often so that they'd appear at the top of the list.
It'd be much appreciated if horses could walk backwards instead of having to do a full 180 every time, too.

- Extremely expensive and Daedric level quality of Artifacts that are both Unique and really hard to find.
- 1 Set of Daedric gear spread across the whole world in pieces (Remove it from smithing)
- Better UI, Morrowind or Oblivion style, I care not which

I want candles and lanterns to work like they did in Morrowind. Stealing everybody's lights and making my house look like a disco was fun.

Being gifted with an old run down estate with a castle as a reward for finishing the main quest.

You can spend your gold on rebuilding it and adding shops + an inn, recruit bards, servants and shopkeepers to work there.
Send your friends/companions there to hang out or work as guards while your husband/wife takes care of all the day to day business and finance.

If you ever played NWN2 then Crossroads keep might spring to mind, it had potential but was never really realised, I think something like that would fit well into this game but it is hardly a little thing to add.

Edit: A stable for your horses too. :)

If you are going to give me an option to buy a Mount, allow me to tie it off. I don't need a combat buddy. I need a ride.

If you are going to allow me to have a combat buddy, allow me to purchase a mount for him/her, or at least let them ride doubles with me.

Since there is no combat while mounted, and we all know how mounts are tanks, script it in to let me at least kick something with mount. (see Age of conan mounts)

if you are going to have mounts charge off into the distance to get that kill on a running wolf, allow an option for a marker to be seen on map (Mount marker).

for a triple A title, the lack of depth in some things is LOL-able.

I would also like it if when you character already met someone, that they already acknowledge you in some way. I kinda of miss that from Oblivion, how people reacted to you, especially if they knew you already or are friendly. But anyway dialogue change up would be great. I get tired of hearing "Oh so your an alchemist then?" how about how is your alchemy going? Or its good to see you again? How are your adventures? etc...

When you hitch a ride on a carriage and you have a companion, they jump up on the thing with you. Additionally, buy two horses and your companion can has horsie too.
