Man, I'd love to be a part of this side-machinima - don't really see how its an option though considering I don't have a mic at present

I could probably do some character acting though, I'm not really much of a voice actor anyway :sadvaultboy:

Seems like it is for everyone since, everyone and their grandma appears to listen to it.

There's lots of almost "Sub-Genres" in Dubstep, I find. Every Artist brings something different to the table. Really, you just need to find the artists that jell with what you like.

For example, Mt. Eden's songs are always "clean". For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDYIdBZUl2Y, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGp4D4uQp54&feature=related

While someone like Chrispy's songs are "dirtier" and have more of a "wubwubwub" going on. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0Y7kqqhyL8&feature=related, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pUlsbF3KbI&feature=related

Anyway, not to totally derail the thread. :P I don't even really know if I used "Clean" and "Dirty" in the correct Dubstep way. :whistling:
That's just how I see it, at least. :3

And about the second Machinima, I remember reading somewhere that the main one was going to be 70% serious, and 30% jokes. Couldn't we just merge the two together? I mean, the second one was going to be a mini-project of sorts anyway, no? It just seems to make more sense to keep it all under the same banner, since we have people doing work on both and all. Again, just me.

That does seem like a better idea now that I've gotten all the work, but maybe we can get this to work out

Sorry fi you''re taking offense at this, but I will still have time to write both scripts. And don't worry, I won't steal any of your ideas, but i might need a couple of your actors ;)

Wait, is it a parody of the machinima like posted above or is it a new one? (not offended at all)

No, it's not a parody, but it's going to be a comedic one.

Lol, I assume Mt Eden is from Mt Eden in Auckland... about 20-30 minutes drive from my house, and is a total crap hole of a place. Probably why everybody here listens to dubstep, if such a prominent artist is local.

Well, I tried. Listened to every single link, with bud headphones, on highest quality. Some of it was actually pretty good, I admired the atmosphere in Mt Eden's music. But I just can't get into the whole WHOM WHOM WHOM thing by itself, and when it hinges so heavily on that and that alone in 90% of the music it tends to sound a bit samey. So it sounds like there's some good stuff in there some places, but not enough to lure into listening to it.

OFF DUBSTEP TOPIC, BACK ON ORIGINAL TOPIC, so jordanman13, you still want me to go ahead with this "Off the Frontlines" logo? And is it for in-video use or something?

Actually, I think the acting is on Xbox, and the discussions will be held through Steam. At least, thats what I had in mind.

My thoughts exactly. Devil, do you have Steam? I'll promote you in the currently unofficial group.

As an actor I would rather be told what to say and what my character should be doing rather than talking about it...
