What Media Player (audio) is everyone using these days?

The older version of Winamp here. Comes with a bunch of custom skins that relies on that version.

I just use Microsofts Windows Media Player. I use to use Winamp, but when I got my new laptop, I just seem it's easier to us WMP. I did install Winamp, but find WMP, so much easier. Guess I used it too long now, I fogrot about anything else.

I hate it, but I have to have iTunes to work with my iPod Touch. I don't even really like the Touch, but it was a gift, so I sort of feel I need to use it. If I didn't have to use iTunes, I'd probably use Foobar 2000. That or Winamp.

winamp for my dedicated media player, though when I want to play just a specific file I use VLC or Media Player Classic depending on the file format.

Ah yes, that makes sense. The only things I use it for is music and a few rare movies and never really clicked on anything else now that I think about it.

Foobar 2000.

I use this as well, it is very lightweight and minimalistic and does its job well. I also like burning audio discs with it since it makes it very simple and keeps the track order.

Just to be clear: you are aware that Media Player and Windows Media Player are two different programs, right?

It plays music the bestest. I need a good lyrics plugin for it though. One that is integrated with the layout/program, not some program/window that launches independently of foobar; it also needs to get lyrics automatically BUT NOT TAG THE SONG FILE. Seriously, don't think there is one that gets lyrics automatically but leaves songs untagged.

Ever tried http://www.clementine-player.org/? It's like Amarok without the [censored] up UI.

I use Clementine, if that wasn't already clear.

VLC Media Player. (...)

This. I used to have Winamp, then I got the Creative Mediacenter with my X-Fi Soundcard.
The Mediacenter had a better sound quality than Winamp (I'm a bit audiophile).
And then, last but not least I ended up with VLC. That thing has a great quality and can play everything.
It replaced my mediacenter a few months ago, when a nice media library was implemented.

SoundPlayer Lilith, because it has a few particular skins that I really like. Although lately I've been hankering for some visualizations, and the basic ones in VLC don't cut it.

Does Winamp have good visualizations?

Windows Media Player 10. All other media players can eat poo. Tried using foobar, found it to be the ugliest and least accessible media player since iTunes.
