What a mess...

I'm shocked by the sheer volume of posts in the thread discussing crashes. With the near constant influx of threads, I have no idea how Bethesda plans on dealing with the volume of problems. The crash thread is up to like 45-46 pages now and I've subsribed to the thread just to watch the near constant flow of crash reports.

Nice job to the developers and QA department for giving us this terd of a game/patch.

Please, get this solid so that I don't feel like I've wasted my money on a game I can't even play!!! If this isn't fixed soon, I'll be seeking a refund which is extremely out of the ordinary for me. I too am a developer and understand the trials and tribulations of code hacking, but this... remimds me of garage programmers hacking together something to make a buck then laughing to the bank as people have problem after problem.

I have many other Bethesda titles including Rage and do not have these problems, what sort of development team/QA team puts out this shoddy of a product?

Seems nobody reads the stickies.

Anyways complaining on here wont do you any good, and for every person reporting bugs there are many more not experiencing any problems. Forums =/= the majority

I'm worried its actually so screwed up that it can never be properly fixed. I'm looking to a community patch to really get the game in working order, which is a shame, but I can forgive bethesda for the terrible and numerous bugs - skyrim truly is a diamond in the rough imo

Neither me or my brother have had a single problem yet with any sort of crash or major bug and we have each put in well over 100 hrs of playtime. Maybe it is more of a hardware issue for many of these ppl makng complaints. We each play on an Xbox 360 by the way(we each have our own).

the only things im upset about really is the lack of a hand to hand skill and the lack of the actors from e3 who where much better in my opinion and i loathe the argonian male voice in this game it sounds to human. other then those no major complaints the rest will be fixed by patches.

They are a company. to which they lie. The old creators were motivated by a passion and vision. along with some money. Now all that motivates them is deadlines and money.

I know, it's terrible: Can't people read that this is the general discussion forum and crashes should be reported in the technical section?

OP can't even spell "terd" correctly yet wishes to be taken seriously. I guess we really know what the problem with the game is.

Skyrim = gamefail

There are more broken things in the game than there are working things. They released an alpha or beta product as a complete product. It just shows that Bethesda is all about money.

do you really think they would go out of their way to create a uniquely massive expansive open world game, to which there are absolutely no competitors, if all they were motivated by was deadlines and money? Were that true, they would probably pump out a [censored] short action game every year, like the rest of the games industry

You have no clue how companies work. The fact that you said they have"no competition" would by definition entitle them to release an incomplete product... since they have no competition according to you, what competitor will you spend money on?

They have raked in over half a billion dollars by now. Go look at sales figures.

Because you would know them personally?

Right.
That claim equalls the one saying the most negative posts on this board are written by Beth's competetion employees in disguise. Slander, right?
Don't write nonsense unless you can prove it.
Which you obviously can't.

That clears it up. Moving on.

I blame Xbox for being such a crappy system~ I only get problems if my Xbox has been on for a long period of time~ Games like this put a heavy load on the xrapbox 360, Bethesda did the best they could~

Maybe because Bethesda didn't make Rage.

please don't presume to tell me what I do and do not know. By 'no comptetition' I meant that there are no other games like elder scrolls games - they have other competitors throughout the games industry, obviously, especially other rpgs and so forth, but within their niche, they certainly don't have any comptetitors - no one else is making games like this, are they? It was meant as a means of expressing the fact that if they were all about money, they certainly wouldn't waste their time making a game of such grand intricate scale.

Why would you think that a large company would not produce it's products in order to make profit? If it was up to the programmers and QA the game probably would've been released about two months later. Executives push games out often too soon in order to calm investors and make larger profit. Or in order to have the game on the market during peek buy periods...such as late november and december.

I have respect for Origin games and Bioware for pushing their huge titles back a couple of months.

Getting a bit personal? I know a bit about how companies work because I am a business owner.

What does DA2 have to do with your argument? You just spouted the name of a game off and think you said something groundbreaking.

If you have a problem with crashes or lag or other issue please feel free to join in one of the discussion in our H&S sections where the devs are busy collecting the information so they can work on patches to actually fix the games for those that are having problems.

This thread however is in the wrong section and becoming a bit of a flame/flamebait festival which we don't allow. Especially when it comes to personal insults of one another.
