What Mikel Devson will be doing in skyrim

Post » Sun May 18, 2014 11:57 am

Hey guys, on my previous post someone asked me what Mikel will be doing in skyrim so here is my answer...

Hey guys! Before you read this please read my previous post to understand what's going on here. I'm only going to adress things Mikel will be doing in skyrim and the things that have been asked for me to adress (Thats a lie lol). First off i think you should know that i have some mods that increase immersion by at least 70%. Here are some of the mods i highly recommend you add on into your game : Frostfall, Sneak Tools, Realistic Needs and Diseases, Civil War Overhaul, Dragon Combat Overhaul and many others that are worth the time to download.

SPOILER ALERT - SKIP THE BOTTOM PARAGRAPH IF YOU HAVE NOT BEATEN SKYRIM!

I plan on having Mikel entering into the Dark-Brotherhood first then the thieves guild. Since i have hearthfire he will have a daughter and his own little house :D. His wife will be Aela and hopefully they can have some good adventures together. He will join the Dawnguard when he has killed alduin

and i will go buy dragonborn after he has finished dawnguard. That is pretty much all you need to know for now, but ill try and keep you updated on whats going on. I will also be making a post tommorow on the backstory of Karthia Devson, (Mikel Devson's mother).

P.S. Do you guys have any tips on how to kill a dragon in nightingale armor or any light armor for that matter lol.

That depends on what you use for weapons. If you have a bow, you could use your surroundings to take a few shots before you need to retreat.

My equipment will be all nightingale. I will be duel-wielding though, is duel wielding suicide when fighting a dragon in light armor?

At low levels? Very much so. I would recommend putting them off untik your skills are developed.

I'd suggest that if you're the stealthy assassin type that it may be a good idea to start using your archery skills on the dragons. Range attacks are quite effective on dragons and help you avoid being toasted.

Here is some help with dragons and such.

Spoiler
In order to get a dragon to land to fight it, you have to use a bow to take some of the health down. When a dragon gets to a certain low health, it causes them to land, Get something that give fire protection that you can switch to when fighting a dragon. Being a Nord, you already have 50% resistance against frost. If you come across a frost bow, use it on a fire dragon, and visa-versa with a fire bow.

If you are going into the thieves guild first, the boots, helm and gloves are the best, for stealth, 1-handed, and archery. There is also a helm for "shopping."
