Am I missing something? I thought that if I had Caesar's mark I could go to the fort and meet with him. I can get as far as his tent, and then the guard dog outside marks me hostile, and pretty soon everyone after that comes after me and I die in a few seconds. Maybe I waited too long to go to the fort? I am vilified by the legion, but I thought the Mark would get me an audience with Caesar?

Am I screwed? Do I have to go back to before I was vilified? So long ago... I have a save from then, but an awful lot has happened between now and then. Help.

Im having the same issue..I was able to get around the dogs by choosing the animal lover perk. But the praetorian guard still attacks. Its a glitch. Im wearing Legion armor and dont have any followers. The mark should let us in to talk to Caesar.

Are you sure you dismissed Boone? It's not enough to tell him to wait somewhere, he still counts as an active companion and the Legion will be hostile. Make sure you tell him not to travel with you any more and send him back to the Lucky 38.

I did that. I've read a few people are having this issue as well.

I am wearing legion armor (when in Rome...) and I have dismissed Boon. I even spoke to one of the Legion who said "you are protected by the mark of Caesar". Hmm... Losing patience with this one.
