What mods to install - what do you suggest?

Because some of the features in Morrowind Code Patch got my interest, I'll soon be uninstalling my old game (Morrowind and Tribunal) and install the GOTY Morrowind (includes both Tribunal and Bloodmoon).

I currently have installed these modsto add sounds, clothing and jewelry plus of course some of Bethesda Softworks add-ons:

Better Bodies
Morrowind Comes Alive
Real Signposts
Text Patch for Morrowind
Wyr Jeweler
AreaEffectArrows
Cloak Collection
Bitter Coast sounds
Sound Enhancements
Atmospheric Sound Effects
Wilderness Sounds
Amulets and Rings
Skill up Ledger

In my new install, I intend to add Morrowind Code Patch based on what I've read in the forums here. I'd like advice though if there are mods that are considered better than the ones I'm currently using - because they are less resource hungry or more balanced or would let me pare down the number of mods I use. I have no experience with Bloodmoon to know what might be useful mods for it, but as you can guess, I'm more into the sound and visual appeal rather than quests or added plots. Maybe after I play Bloodmoon, but not before.

In general, I'm after mod suggestions regarding sounds, maybe visual improvements in the environment, maybe game play and perhaps an alternative to the jewelry mods I'm using now. I would like to find a mod that makes it easier to find or buy more exquisite clothing and jewelry rather than adding items that can be enchanted to insane amounts. If there is a mod that fixes Morrowind's mapping problem (does not show the territory as you move over it), I'd like that too.

If it matters, I'm playing it on Win XP Pro, SP3, AMD Athlon II X3 CPU, 4Gb RAM and an integrated video chip. The only problem I'm having currently is that Morrowind sounds are affected (NPCs and environmental sounds become high pitched) when I speed or jump through an area.

P.S.: If some of these mods cause problems with another in the full Morrowind install, I'd appreciate hearing about it also. AFAIK, the mods I'm currently using don't conflict.

Thanks,

John

And to check for possible conflicts, http://code.google.com/p/mlox/wiki/Mlox is always handy.

And concerning the high-pitch sound problem, just open the in-game Sound Options and switch your Software/Hardware sound type. One causes the glitch on some computers, but the other will work fine.

One idea is to look at which mods players are using:

http://www.fliggerty.com/phpBB3/cne/cne_main.php

If you click on a character, and then their "Menu", you can choose View Active Mods.
You can also ask them questions about their mods, I suppose.
