Would add far more quests, but they have a tendency to conflict in all sorts of unpleasant ways. So I plan to run through some of those present with my current low level character eventually, then remove them, and add others.

I'm very interested in this topic since I am looking for lists of mods in actual working games.

I last played Morrowind 6 years ago and I played it vanilla. While it was fun, my interest waned as I became the head of the mages guild, fighters guild and of a house at around level 20 to 25 and had $300,000 and nothing exciting to buy. I had only explored a fraction of the landscape and quests and had already 'won'. Recently I returned to Morrowind and discoverd mods. I am working on rebuilding Morrowind the way it should have been with many more challenges, the levels and skills harder to get, creatures and quests more challenging, and with the economy rebalanced. Playing it should be a lot of fun. With so much modding material out there, I'm thinking I will play through several different versions of Morrowind. Hence, my interest in someone's actual list of mods they are using in an actual working game. There are a few lists on the web, but frankly, most of them are lists of multiple mods addressing modifying the same item (and very useful lists they are - thank you Gluby), what I haven't found much of are actual mod lists of working games. So, if you are enjoying your game and it's heavily or lightly modded. I would be very interested to see your entire list of mods that your using. BRING IT ON!

For those like me, returning to Morrowind after long absence or newbies, here are the steps I've gone thru so far followed by my initial list of mods. I still have tree/grass mods to install, clothing, game rebalancing modes, new lands, and some just for fun mods and quests to add. Here is my starting list,

Install Morrowind and expansions
Get error - vaguely remember that install order matters, check it out on web and indeed that is it
Reinstall in this order
Morrowind
Tribunal
Bloodmoon

Get snowflake error - find fix in Bycote's thread 'Morrowind Troubleshooting & Optimizing for Windows (including Vista)"

Install Official Bloodmoon Patch (which includes the Tribunal patch) now have version v1.6.1820

Install Morrowind Patch Project (MPP) now have version v1.6.4 which you do not see on the load screen, will still see v1.6.1820 but you can check to see that it is installed easily by visiting Ajira in Balmora and checking to see that she does not sell heather

Install Morrowind Code Patch (MCP) and use the showcase esp to check that it is working, will also see MCP in bottom left corner of load screen
Install Bethesda official plugins from Bethesda site
Revisit Morrowind Vista thread for tweaks, expected issues, and common errors (incredible useful)

Install FPS Optimizer (now have to start up applications using 'run as administrator' apparently a vista related issue, for the apps to work right)

Visit Tweaktown's 'Morrowind Tweak Guide' and tweak it
Add "yes to all' in the Morrowind ini file

Install Morrowind Graphics Extender v3.8.0b (its the stable one), make extensive use of MGE Discussion by Timeslip & Liztail (thanks for the help). This version is both MGE and MWSE combined. Once it is installed, you can see 'Morrowind Graphics Extender' in upper left corner of opening movie.

Install Wrye Mash and MLOX

Start installing mods (fail) read Grumpy's thread on installing mods, Gluby's, plus more
Install bugfix's recommended by Gluby's guide to Bugfix's for Morrowind
Install Texture Pack - go for the trinity - Visiual Texture Pack which includes 2.11, 2.2, and XT
Install a lot of other higher resolution textures that come without esp or esm files

Then... well, you can see the list below. I still have important mods to install, but I am about halfway there

Along the way, I get big yellow boxes and later doubling errors, learn to use MLOX and Wrye Mash (thank you to the developers)

For today, I think I will intall "Connary's Texture Compendium" which I just found on an odd website and downloaded. I've got bits and pieces of his stuff, but it looks like its a whole texture pack.

Notice that there are no graphics modifiers on this list. I'm fine with how everything in the vanilla game looks; I just use mods which improve gameplay and add content.
