Some kind of flying enemy, not like bloat flyes. But something that is big and actualy flies pretty high up in the sky and either dive bombs your guy or shoots something at you. :)

I think we should just add the same mutants/monsters/creatures from the original fallouts, maybe even a few unique ones, like rabbits ...rabbits breed like well...rabbits today, and ive always wondered why aren't there any in the FO Universe

because it's a random encounter they just made for fun? Just like the crashed wale and the pot of daisies.

but there is a point to it, and the wale could have flopped onto land then got eatn by the plant.

and have you found the stione ring you would know how the water chip got messed up, so there is a point and there can be a reson for the foot print Image

Why does everything have to have a point? Random encounters were made specifically for fun, as most of them are references. The stone circle aka the Guardian of Forever - Star Trek TOS. Whale and daisies - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. As simple as that. Gaaaaaaary!

argh!!!! thnx auriga for that memory push. the whale and the daisies was tickling the back of my brain in a a familiar way but couldn't place it till you reminded me it was from Hitchhiker's guide. i should have known it too having been a fan of that for years.

a lot of theses topics are starting to repeat with not many new ideas. not a knock on anyone, just means the forum is getting stale. we need more bones tossed at us by chris or any of the other devs so we can rehash old topics with fresh ideas and comments. my canines itch for more bones!!!!! toss em. ;)

Anytime :)

The one thing that puzzles me is that... why there are no bloodthirsty mutated birds? I suppose they were one of the first to experience the radioactive fallout, and experience it pretty intensely, but other animals were also exposed to it. I wouldn't mind battling a twisted and deformed buzzard or anything else.

Just don't make 'em like those annoying bastards from TES3 Morrowind.

And about repeating topics... I have a little project in mind that *in theory* should minimise that, but I need some time to do that, and time is what I don't have atm. Gaaaaaaary!

ah yes Auriga!! those dreaded cliff racers from morrowind lol till someone made a mod that made them passive...i sent him so many thank you's for that. it's not that there may not be fresh ideas in people's minds renco, it's that there's only so much you can speculate on without new, solid info.
example is: if all we knew was that the game would have something yellow and every single thing yellow has been mentioned in the forum discussions from bananas to submarines, from fever to belly, there needs to be new info in order for ideas to refresh. you add blue and can now speculate/postulate/estimate or wish on things blue, things blue and yellow and how the original yellow ideas fit in. this was i admit a silly and oversimplified example but there you go

now the devs are no doubt still doing a lot of planning and haven't etched much in stone just yet, as well being very busy with coding for beta so i'm not trying to goad them or pressure them either. just stating an observation from a personal standpoint.
