I believe crossbows and shoulder armor is not returning. The demos shown at E3 do not show such for shoulder armor in inventory, and Todd Howard has confirmed crossbows are not returning.

Personally, I liked the option of wearing differing armor types on your left or right sides (left pouldren! Right Glove!)
I would notice, but not mind seeing it in Skyrim)

Chitin! It would fit with the whole ruggedness of Skyrim, making armour and weapons out of bone, but I think it's unique to morrowind due to the native creatures so nevermind.

I was playing Morrowind and got a nice skirt.. i would like to have those in Skyrim because they would fit battlemages and such.. example plate armor as a chest and then you could put the skirt over the greaves like in Morro... would be 4w3s0m3

Well technically chitin isn't bone. It's basically what makes up the shells of insects and crustaceans. knowledge is power! So unless it was imported from Morrowind,(which seems plausible) it wouldnt fit in much there.

Dreugh, and yes me too! I know medium armor most likely is not returning but it would be great if they brought back a few pieces of this in another class. Even if it was only helm/cuirass/shield like in MW.
I also liked the Tribunal Royal guard armor (also medium) and the look of the old glass armor.
I'd there is real customization of armor thru smithing like they are saying in Skyrim I will be very happy.
