What music will you listen to....

Just like the movie thread, what music will you listen to in preparation for Skyrim?

I mainly listen to Bathory.

Ring of Gold

Twilight of The Gods (Highly recommend this album!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_w72-AsoGQ

One Rode To Asa Bay

Just a couple of my favorite songs :)

Some Amon Amarth, a lot of Jeremy Soule, a lot of medieval ambiental and the Skyrim theme - the one we have for now, at least.

[...] I'm sure I'll subconsciously end up listening to more solemn folk/black metal than I normally would. :D

Music that while listening to I can't help but think of the deep and solemn woods in the heart of winter. Yeah, that sounds right.

I will just listen to what I usually listen to, ranging from chill, relaxing piano songs to ear-bleeding, heavy rock

Probably orchestrated and classical music. I like baroque music a lot so some of that for sure. I don't think heavy stuff would work that well for me but to each his own.

I like the second one better. The best part: "But the death will be back with the tide"

I just copied this from my post in the movies thread.

i fully intend to spend the next few months in hip-hop mode, since i feel that's better suited to exciting new information about something as blatantly caucasian as a fantasy role-playing game, but as November draws near i'll likely find myself getting back into Bal-Sagoth and Drudkh (and subsequently mourning the lack of open-world adventure/RPGs incorporating elements of slavic mythology ;_;).

This and Agalloch would fit the mood of Skyrim perfectly as well.

Bob Dylan songs.

Not really anything to do with Skyrim whatsoever... I just like Bob Dylan

Wow.. a lot of metalheads around here. I dig that Wardruna, but I will stick to my guns:

GRUNGE BABY

Alice in Chains
Soundgarden
Nirvana
Stone Temple Pilots
Beck
Smashing Pumpkins

Oh... and probably no hip hop other than Wu Tang. That's the only worthy hip hop imo.
