Post » Sat Sep 17, 2011 6:49 pm

I'll probably play this song a few times http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0aQx1KZS8w

I'll probably be listening to the new The Devil Wears Prada album. Or blink-182's new one. Neither fit, but whatever. Lol.

Previous TES music along with select "Conan the Barbarian" and "The Lord of the Rings" tracks/excerpts and, of course, the default tracks.

i like to stick to the TES soundtrack. however for Skyrim i've been hoping to get my hands on a copy of the old Morrowind soundtrack to put on my xbox and play to, but i don't seem to be able to buy it anywhere.

Actually Fable music fits pretty well with the TES series. Been doing my last run with Oblivion with a Fable playlist and it really fits it.

I wish Skyrim did what Fable did, which is have a unique score for each little area. Like each little city had their own little theme. And not every ruin had the same creepy music, but each had a different music to it.

Get out.

I'm kidding. But seriously.

I have a playlist I use for medieval/fantasy style games. Has everything from LOTR to Game of Thrones to Morrowind and everything in between. Also the GoT soundtrack is amazing and seems very fitting for Skyrim.

As good as the music is in many games, among the first things I do in games nowadays is to turn the music off. an OB mod thread suggested it for immersion purposes and ive never used game music since

Only the builtin music. I think the game will bore me earlier than the music.
The (exploration/battle) music will also be toned waaaaay down, hopefully without affecting town bards.

Why fit any other music than what our beloved Jeremy Seoul "FIT" into this game so perfectly?

Simply http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYg4iuQvVag&feature=related. Granted, I don't understand what all of it means, but I do know that it has something to do with beer and vikings... and, for that reason, I am instantly transported to imagery of fog rolling down snowy mountains and dragons terrorizing the Nordic folk of beautiful Skyrim. Danke, Heidevolk, danke much.

I love the score for the game, but every now and then for variety's sake, I turn the music down and play the Red Dead Redemption soundtrack. Slightly different tone, but it works surprisingly well. :-)

The in-game music. Very fitting.

(I don't generally play other music over a game I'm playing. Long & grindy Flash games with short repetitive annoying soundtracks, or MMOs while I'm doing long/grindy/repetitive things, I'll play my iTunes on random; but otherwise I listen to the in-game music or none at all.)

Fit? Hahaha.

Oh if I get the chance, I will add enough electronic, modern or even "animu" music to it.
It fits for me :P
