What nanosuit module do you use?

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 10:47 am

Hey I was wondering what everyone uses for there nano suit module? An also which one you think are the best ones out there.

Right now I'm using:

Energy Transfer II
Visor Enhance II
Rapid Fire Pro II

I think I'm changing my visor enhancer up and maybe pick cloak tracker as theres alot of people out there cloaking so it might be a more beneficial perk than visor enhancer.

Air stomp II, Stealth Enhance III, Mobility Enhance III

Stealth Enhance III, Mobility Enhance III are the best because they allow you to continually sprint and jump everywhere while cloaked with little to no suit energy cost which in turn allows me to Air Stomp the guts out of foes

How do you get to Air Stomp II. Any specific tactics you employed? I realize that you have to jump from higher ground to kill them, but it is just so difficult to aim the stomp correctly. And I can't count the times that I stomp right next to someone and it is so infuriating. I have around 20 Air Stomp kills and I've been doing it for a long time. I wish it wasn't so satisfying to get the +100 icon when you kill someone with it.

armor enhance III, cloak tracker II and Retriever III. I love being able to run further without draining my suit while in armor mode.

Air Stomp III
Cloak Tracker III
Mobility Enhance III

Since day one of the first beta and ever since, my main build has included both Air Stomp and Cloak Tracker. Mobility Enhance, of course, is a perfect complement to Air Stomp, so I use that in conjunction with those other two. (In fact, Mobility Enhance was the first module I finished leveling up, and I completed Air Stomp that same day.) Cloak Tracker is especially helpful as well when playing Crash Site - my mode of choice - as it's great for spotting cloaked enemies on a crash site or those that happen to be moving in on my perch, wherever that may be. I'm pretty much all about the Air Stomp, and stomping cloaked baddies is easily my favorite thing to do in the game. I just can't get enough of it. I certainly wouldn't consider it to be the most effective module, but it's by far the sixiest. I love it.

Let's get a game going on the weekend, have you added the GT: "Crysis 2 Roster"?

I haven't seen or played with anyone with Air Stomp III yet, LOL!

Air Stomp 3 here!

It's quite easy to get on two particular spots on two particular maps. In fact my one and only Psycho came from an Air Stomp! They are - elevator shaft roof on Skyline and the HMG roof over the stairwell on Crashed Bird. Both overlook very high traffic areas and are not too high so you can hit them before they move too far.

The trick is you don't need to be that high - as long as you are above head height, you're at lethal damage height and are more accurate due to being able to land it quicker. Stay cloaked over an area people tend to camp in (so they're stationary) or a high traffic area so people tend to cluster, and you can rack them up. Armour apparantly helps damage, but I don't know if that's true. I put it on as I land just in case.
