Hi i want to play daggerfall, took cd from my friend, installed under dosbox, applied last patch 213 and now what? Is there any additional mods or patches? I've heard about official quest pack for dagger, but as i see it is only for USA version and i don't know which one i have. Can you explain me all? Thx

We can't understand which version we have cause box was lost long ago and because of scrathes friend made a copy of cd and now we have only copy

That's it, you can play now. Set DOSBox to sue a dynamic core and max cycles for the best performance. Oh, and setup DOSBox to use 32MB of RAM.

And what about additional quests?

I never heard of a mod for Daggerfall that I can think of off the top of my head. There is nearly unlimited questing in Daggerfall as-is. Just set it up and try it out, the world can be overwhelming to somebody who is used to smaller, more modern games. The world is HUGE. Now go enjoy it.

http://www.uesp.net/ will have a link to the COMPUSA patch with the extra quests as well as some other user modifications, however I think the COMPUSA patch was incorporated into Daggerfall at one point through a update.

The http://www.uesp.net/dagger/files/dagfiles.shtml patch will add additional quests... if you need them

Well, there are also those Xtra quest packs. You can find them at UESP as well, IIRC.

Also, a french site had a zip with ALL the extra quests ever made for Daggerfall, including the COMPUSA ones. Unfortunately, I can't find the link anymore.
