What do I need to do to run Crysis 2

Post » Sun Oct 26, 2008 4:13 am

Before I begin I must explain that today I spent solid hour at my local gamestop trying to obtain the game I reserved a year or more ago and paid off in full 2 months ago. I'm still pissed.

I currently run a build that consists of:

AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 3.2GHz Processor
8 GB of ram
2 AMD 4870's crossfire'd
1 TB of free space between two 7200RPM drives

My game will not launch after clicking "play" on the disk menu.

What do i need to do to run this game at all?

What is being done about the current issues?

REDFOX 834 has figured out how to run crysis 2

open the bin32 on both cd and c/ directory

replace the launcher and application from the cd to the bin32 on your c/ directory, play from the cd, type in your cd key.

play.

thank you

You won't be able to. You have crossfire, Crysis 2 doesn't support multi-gpu. They have it programmed to give you epilepsy because they hate you. As far as what is being done, all we can assume is jack **** because they haven't acknowledged any of the problems, we haven't heard a peep from anyone from Crytek or EA.
