What new race would you like to see in any new TES game and

Ohms would be quite good.

Or perhaps just if you pick Khajiit then you can pick from a few sub-species of Khajiits that don't look too out of place, but have a slightly different appearance or skill bonuses.

I would prefer that Bethesda sticks with the 10 races that they have now and flesh them out (with different voices...). Leave the "fancy" special races to modders. I'm sure Ren is going to do something about it no matter what Bethesda does. If they had to put in a new "race", I would like them to make some of the different Kahjiit and Argonian breeds available.

I think as long as we stay on Tamriel it would be hard to have more playable races. Maomer might work on Sumerset Isle but I'd be surprised for them to make their game debut as a playable race instead of as NPCs. Igma might work in Valenwood but to be honest I don't see how playing fussy shaved gorilla men would add anything to the game.

It looks like the next game will take place well after the events of TES IV which does allow some flexibility. Bethesda could say that Tang Mo refugees started arriving in large numbers fifty years before the game takes place and then it wouldn't be odd having them as a playable race. (If the game takes place shortly after TES IV you'd expect people to be pretty astonished when they see a Tang Mo waltzing about, which is not how they'd react to any of the Imperial races.) I'm not a fan of monkey people so I have no interest in seeing the Tang Mo in a game (particularly one set in Tamriel) but at least it could make some sense.

In the end however I don't see what a new race would add to the game. Mechanically the ten established races offer plenty of breadth so if it doesn't make sense in the game world I don't see a reason to do it.

Actually, I'd say the Tsaesci would be better suited, since the the Tiger-Men have allied with the Tang Mo, and the Toshraka (the dragon of the Tiger-men) is noted to say he's going to try and crush the Tsaesci, then Tamriel. If things go bad for the Tsaesci, we'd sooner see Tsaesci refugees than Tang Mo, and an upcoming war with the Tiger-men

Lore wise, it would make sense for Beth to open up at least 2 more races, with TES:V, assuming it's based in Skyrim.
I'd personally love to see a new race or two, the lore behind the races are canon, and wouldn't be overlooking lore to add them in the game.

With curious inquiry, what would these two races be?

if it were Skyrim and well after Oblivion, falmer wouldn't be impossible, but I p[refer them as the stuff of Nordic folktales to a tangible being.

So...a race that has been wiped out before or in the early parts of the first era somehow comes back now? I doubt they'd get along with the nords, and would be rendered to be an unplayable race

Exactly. That's why I prefer them as the stuff of folk tales told to scare children than an actual, appearing race. Although, depending on who you ask they may still be around, but I think ten is good.

Im thinking, maybe bring back Dwarves.

Also, this isnt really a race, but, Like vampires, if there could be werewolves.
I think that would be cool. :)

Of course they should! Assuming TESV will be in skyrim, we should see a vampire that can walk through ice, and more werebears than werewolves.

I want to play as a Hist.

I want to be a tree and manipulate all Argonians to do my bidding while sitting at the starting position in the game (probably a dungeon) and never being able to move or interact with the story in any way, shape, or form. I can also start pro-nature propaganda through my Argonian connections and eventually take over Tamriel and wipe out the Akaviri Continent.

On a more serious note, I really want to be a Maormer. Snake Magic!

I wouldn't necessarily want to add any playable races to the existing roster, but unique NPC's is a must. There are so many to add; Sloads, Khajiit sub variants, etc. If you were to add Daedric NPC's (Dremora, Golden Saints, Dark Seducers), they would have to be rare occurrences. Perhaps there is a Dremora that has been trapped in Tamriel since the Oblivion Crisis and asks your assistance in helping him return. Basically, they would be parts of stories. I'm not sure if two Khajiit player races (Ohmes and Suthay) would work or not but perhaps it could.
