ABOLSUTELY NO.

Actually, being able to play as a Sload would be awesome. Or Vivec. Yes. I want to play as Vivec.

More a who than a what (unless IatW wants to play a city :D), http://hosted.multiplayer.it/morrowind/codex/bestiario/The%20UESP%20Morrowind%20Monsters_file/vivec.jpg
No new races but I would like to see the various Khajiit breeds in-game

Oh, please, no new races. TES has 10 playable races and that is quite enough, I think. If the devs try to make them as they are described in the lore this time it would be great. Seeing some lore supported races as UNplayable could be nice though.

You've just sky-rocketed yourself into memetic history.

I just read your post, and I started lol'ing. Now I have hiccups. Thanks a lot.

Anyway, great idea. Time to start forcing this meme.

Not so much a new race, but just moldeling the existing ones to look more like the Morrowind concepts.

I completely agree.

You stole my joke.
I was going to say that they should add the race of chain smoking Dunmer

I'd rather they just focus on existing races. There are 10 races which adds plenty of diversity. While fitting the lore is a good goal the game should focus more on making the races fun to play, and not to effectively force a single race onto a role. In Morrowind, sure you could be a orc mage if you wanted but hands down the high elves were the best mage class and by a really large margin, they had way too much more magicka than any other race. You almost feel dumb for not picking them on a mechanical level.(yes you can always choose to roleplay a dumb choice for fun) IMO Oblivion did a better job with this by narrowing the gap a bit, one of the few areas I prefer Oblivion. Still races should have benefits and lead more to certain roles. IMO this is only done with Magic types, due to the magicka stat. All the other benefits are so minor or short term it falls in the I don't care zone. Once a day abilities don't really say anything about making you a batter fighter. Maybe give some races different skill caps in fighting skills or stealth skills, or some other consistent always going benefit that is similar in effect to a permanent more magicka ability. More magicka helps you every fight, heck every time you use magic. The fighting and stealth focused races need things like that. Nothing so huge that it is dumb not to be the race, but more abilities that always help. And immunity to frost does not really cut it.

Another race? It's good. A race to replace Dunmer and 2 beast races.

I agree, unplayable Tsaesci, Sload, Falmer, and maybe even some Umbrielan races would be interesting (but that depends on book two, really). As for the current ten races, don't add new ones, MAYBE make subraces for Khajiit, and make them more distinctive both visually and in terms of gameplay (after all, old cultural hatreds die hard).

Sigged! ^_^

But no, I don't think they should/will add any new races. Anything that'd make sense tends to be extinct or uber reclusive.

Dwemer would be nice to see. But it wouldn't make sense because as like you said, they are supposed to be extinct.

Igma would be sweet. Sload would svck to play as, but a sload NPC would be fun to have. NO AKAVIRI RACES UNLESS WE ARE ON AKAVIR!
If we are in Skyrim, I want to go to Glacier Crawl and flirt with some Falmeri chicks; I'm sure with some improved graphics they'd look decent

They have enough and unless they were going to do a faction system like WoW there would be no point,
But I have to admit playing as the snake-people of Akavir would be rather awesome.
