I hear they've already added Falmer (Snow Elves) as a new race. (Though it's been established in lore as Existing)
Rather than disrupt the lore, they should split the Khajiit into 2-4 races. (2: Cathay and Ohmes-Raht. 3. Cathay, Ohmes-Raht, and Suthay)
I could see the Cathay, being the second-largest of the humanoid Khajiit and therefore most naturally insulated as being well-adapted to living in Skyrim. They're also the most balanced between Martial and Stealth. Suthay(-raht) are plentiful in Morrowind, so they might come over. The Very Human-like Ohmes-Raht are stated to be the most numerous breed outside Elsweyr due to their similar appearance to men and mer (With only a thin coat of tawny fur and a feline tail to differentiate them from Elves. No, they don't even have cat ears), and it's time that's reflected in the games. It also gives Furry-haters an incentive to play the Khajiit. They're also more stealth/magic oriented than the Cathay.
I highly doubt they'd implement the Alfiq-Raht (Arcane-oriented Khajiit about 4x the size of a Housecat, coming up to a human's knee) or Senche (About the height of a horse, slightly broader, twice as long, and significantly stronger). Senche-Raht (Cat the size of a small House) is right out.
The problem is, there are actually only 3-4 real races in TES: Humans, Elves, Orcs, and Furries.
