What Non-combat related Role playing activities would you li

First I'd like to ask for no flaming of role players, of role playing, or of any opinions (mundane task included) that might be mentioned in this thread.

Now I know a heck of a lot of role players enjoy the elder scrolls series for this reason. What would you like to see in Skyrim (or future TES games) that would enhance your ability to role play?

For myself I believe that Skyrim will meet most of my pleasures. Such as:

Fishing
Farming
Mining
Conversing
Housing
Exploring
Dungeon Diving
Flora Collecting
Decorating
Interactive Community (to be able to effect the community)
Woodcutting

and all the basic skills of Skyrim. I would like to know what else y'all might like to see, that would be acceptable for Bethesda to add?

I'd like an easier way to decorate my home with trophies from my adventures, it was a pain in oblivion. I wish i could just select, "Place Item On Shelf" and the item would just appear on the shelf.

if they did do that, i would also want the option to move it manually. maybe i dont want the item in the centeR?

I agree. Being able to decorate your house should be a LOT easier, maybe just click on the shelf and then choose something from your inventory.

Smithing would be fun.

Also, remember how you would always pick up useless quills and parchments in Oblivion? I think, that, with these, you should be able to write scrolls. It would be interesting, doncha think?

:celebration: This for the win.

I also agree, I wish there was an easier way of decorating homes, council chambers and living quarters than dropping an item, having it knock a few other items in the floor, and having to use a telekenisis spell to put them all where you want them.

So sorry about the double post. The forum glitched a little on me for a moment.

I hope that we can do everything the NPCs do - Like play a lute and sweep a floor with a broom. It would be great if console players had these things too and not just us PC players with mods.

I did sweep the floor of my new bought houses in Oblivion. It was great. :)
Edit: And praying on my knees when visiting Wayshrines to the Nine - Check

Pilgrimages.

I visited every single Wayshrine to the Nine in Oblivion. If there was a profession for Healing I would do it.

I'd like to see fishing make a come-back in the modern RPG.

I miss it. Good source of recovery items too.
