also it appeared that the last two draugr were fleeing from the character, maybe creatures will run when they don't think they can win?

At about 1:25, what is that in-front of the character? It appears to be a assortment of stones in a circle, could these be the doom-stones? Well Birthsign stone.lol :P Also at 1:43 what on earth is that dead animal on the floor on the left.lol So many questions.lol A few seconds later you can see more of the creature, it could be a lion or tiger of some sort, also there is a dead guy, who looks a bit like a pilgrim. Also all of the bandits appear to be redguards..:S

The finishing move is divine
Draw distance is not as spectacular as I expected.
The water in the cave looks awesome.
The giant is not moving at all while falling, bad animation.

Guys, I'm being dead serious.
Can someone please tell me about spoilers this gameplay video have?
Because I'm about to snap and watch it.
But I don't want to know about story a thing until I have the game on my PC.

I noticed the two giants look different.

I hate how changes from a weapon to a spell is so fast.

Also how there is no transition its more like the quick-key from oblivion.

I noticed that when you "snipe" someone with a bow, the person right next to that person just stands there.

That is funny.

Nasty, but funny.

Am I really the only one that sees a lot of Morrowind influences in Skyrim?
The hard edges, calm light, compact feeling in the dungeon... I could go on and on.

Near the beginning, we see a fox chasing a rabbit. But that's not all, after the fox and rabbit have passed, another rabbit crawls out of the bush and runs the other way! That level of detail is epic!

The Giant actually was a ragdoll when he was thrown. I think it's not a problem with the effect, I think the weights are just weird, like they accidentally made his knees too heavy or something. I bet it'll be fixed in the final version.

4) Dragon encounters might be too common, can't say for sure but he was just walking around and a dragon came outta no where attacking the guys he was already fighting, at least the giant. Picked him up and dropped him, cool way to kill someone.

i would hate to have the dragon pick me up i dont like heights :sadvaultboy: im kinda hopin dragons will randomly attack towns

back to the OP i noticed that skyrim isnt getting the attention it deserves.

but really i noticed the weather system is a hell of a lot more detailed, not just snow or rain falling from the top to the bottom of the screen

Dude, it's in the lore. In the year 146 of the third era the great faction of mages split in Skyrim and fought a great magical war. In this chaos, the very essence of Nirn was ripped apart, causing 2 major things. #1 Nirn roots to began sprouting from the ground. #2 minor, random lapses in gravity.

Thanks, but too late.

1)Giants are NPCs :celebration: ,apparently there will be dialogues with them
2)Equipment/magic changing is too fast :(
3)Guards somehow can levitate :D

so is it true that you cant block if you are not using a shield? that seems kinda dumb to me you just let them hit you?

I remember seeing somewhere that you can block only while using shield and one handed weapon or dual wield, I can't remember where...sorry.

Also, at 3:33 it looked like the player did a shield bash at will, could be wrong but seemed pretty straightforward. Could be a neat trick to stagger guys.

No story spoilers. Almost nothing about the story, except a brief mention of dragons near the end.

Actually you can't block with weapon, but you can parry (something that works quite well IRL)
Apparently console controllers do not have enough buttons for dual wielding and blocking/parrying at the same time :(

Just a minor point; when Todd first enters Bleak Falls Barrow there are already some corpses on the ground. Either Todd killed them offscreen in which case no new information there but if they were killed by the other NPCs in the dungeon then there could be returning Bandit/Marauder wars which were always fun to encounter in Oblivion.

Really? I guess it makes sense, though I could have sworn I heard right. Hmm, well if I'm wrong my bad but I'm going to try and find the interview I heard it in to double check.
Side note- It looks like the player braced for a block with dual at around 2:20 in the demo(he was going one on one with a guy) though it may have been him recovering (my comp gets pretty choppy).
Well, off to searching.
