What to do now the Riverwood Trader is "fixed"

Post » Mon Apr 08, 2013 8:13 pm

Well what to do now? it was a beneficial bug and was my go-to place to sell random spawning and expensive gear and now it is gone. There is no other merchant with that kind of coin around (would have been great if that dremora merchant had above average coin available) which is really annoying. considering i am on xbox playing this (and yeah i would have it on PC if i had the money for a decent PC to hook up to my tv) with no other option but to spend my time going from hold to hold trading and selling stuff whcih will result in me selling at a loss when i get frustrated. TBH i will miss this bug the most with patch 1.9, as really, who needs the ogmha infinium anymore? but we really needed a merchant will a good amount of coin and now that is gone.

So is there any one else who laments the loss of the riverwood trader or do you have another preferred way of selling your goods? i am open to suggestions on the next best way to sell a draedric enchanted warhammer i am never going to use

Exactly! I've had the same problem. It REALLY is annoying.

Now I need to travel all over Skyrim to get rid of my stuff :/.

Too bad I guess.

Gold has never been an issue. It is a concern for the early to mid game, but once one gets in a home, it really becomes a non-issue.

What is wrong with having to travel to other towns to sell your goods?

Afraid you have to actually play the game now?...

technically, in the beginning, like all other merchants, he was only supposed to get at extra 500 coin when you invested in him. the patch has fixed " Fixed issue with merchants not receiving the proper additional gold with the Investor perk" but obviously this got "fixed in the process.

That's why I say you should have a long list of upgrades to your spouses store so that you have somewhere decent to get rid of your stuff.

exactly, early in the game. i don't just have advanced my advanced characters. are you afraid of leveling up characters?

anyway i don't think it is fun going around all the holds trying to sell the bounty from one large crypt when i can head there, sell most of it and get into what skyrim is about, not having to jump around getting rid so i am not overencumbered all the time
