What number is your Vault ?

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 12:26 pm

I felt Vault 8 was most appropriate in reference to Vault City since that was after all a control vault and one of, if not the largest.

Mine is Vault 251. I'm going to make it one of the Vaults that did what Vault-Tech said Vaults would do. Re: I'm gonna be the 'save everyone' Overseer. :)

Whatever number it be, I would choose a number not already mentioned in game or lore.

I did have an idea to make Vault 101, as in the actual Vault circa 2177. Thing is, I can barely remember what Vault 101 looked like on the inside so that's gonna be challenging to remake the Vault here. xD

Hadn't thought about modeling it after one of the vaults in the game. I recall that one in NV where the plants went wild. It had different levels with each level serving a specific purpose. Now I'm going to have to go back and look into that.

To be fair, if I'm pretending that my Vault 101 is set a hundred years before Fallout 3's Vault 101, I don't really have to worry about the layout. Who says they didn't change it during the century after my humble reign over Vault 101?

Mine is Vault 669.

I went for "humour" (eh, not really funny) rather than an interesting set of numbers/real vaults.

I might start a new one based off a real vault.

If you'll recall vault 69 was the one with 1 man and 999 women, which is why I picked that at first. Now I wonder if you could build your vault with only one man. Interesting.

101 because that vault needed a good overseer, which I hope to be. Having fun...didn't know it would be so addicting. :)

I chose Vault 74 because that's my favorite number. Weird, right?

Just looked it up to see if it ever existed in the games and apparently it did-didn't. XD

I don't have permission to post links for the time being otherwise I'd link to the wikia article:

Seems my favorite number is a neat-o number afterall.

Oh, and hey, my birthday is 11/20! Happy Early Birthday, Zack E.

Salutations fellow Overseeers,

My vault number is "42"

I thought it would be an appropriate name for my answer to life :)

mine is 666...before i realized probably everyone and their sister is gonna use that number as well.

and...you're not gonna be able to make a vsult like what you see in the "real" games.

you only have like 5 room types, this game is pretty much a "tiny tower" clone just building downwards

and late game your gonna have tons of the same kind of room, power generators, dimers, water treatment, placed wherever you were able to make room for it at the time. and once you put the room down you can't move it unless you destroy it and rebuild.

Vault 160, no particular reason other than liking the number.
