Fast travel to all the Bandit camps, then all the Oblivion Gates, then any other random fort, cave, etc, and see what you find there. Just take a dagger if you’re really bored to death.

Whenever I feel bored I take it as; "My character is bored." When I asked Severus what would get him excited again, he said he wanted to explore the entire map. That began an epic journey that spanned hundreds of hours. During that time, he learned to fight with his fists, acquired a master set of alchemy apparatus, and pulled some of the most fiendish pranks on bandits that I can recall. We were not bored even once. Sometimes he would see how many creatures, bandits, and deadra he could get chasing him at once.

At level 25, Sarrah who started life as a pure Mage said she wanted to wear Deadric armor and fight with a claymore. That was the beginning of another epic.

Frankly, after more than 300 hours, Angel has never been bored but then, she has done things that no character of mine has ever done before. She too is a prankster of sorts, she is also a photographer, a pickpocket, a consummate alchemist, and in her new incarnation, she is using lots of mods that I am introducing into the game for the first time. Up to now I've just been playing vanilla.

Go hunting at night with a bow, jacked up w/fire +3 fire dmg in a 100' radi. Shoot from as far away from the target as possible. Far enough to where the target just loads into the screen.

PS. Pack a ton of ammo....

Try a hardcoe game..

Create a new character, pick your skills carefully, then set off into world and imagine you are that character..eat and rest each day as you explore the wilderness, looking for adventures and new things to happen.

2 conditions though..

When you die...you die. No reloading after death.

Don`t use fast travel.

I guarantee that it will add so much more spice to your game, knowing that any fight could be your last..heh heh.

I'll quote Summer from your other thread...

That said go outside and get some air, buy a new game, learn a skill, clean the house, fly a kite or do something fun. Nobody can play one game every summer for 5 or 6 years.

Ohhh, or maybe bake some cookies and share with me.

because it sounds like the game has nothing to do with why you're bored. It sounds like you're trying way too hard to make the game fun. You shouldn't have to try...it's either fun for you or it's not.

Try to get crime stats higher than http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/3407/sirkillsalotstatsjpg.jpg And try to do it without stealing, pickpocketing, trespassing or going to prison (makes it a bit more challenging).

Yeah sounds like you need a break from it. Happens to us all, you can only play one game so long and eventually it`s going to grow stale.

Go outside and play some football or hang around with friends, much healthier pursuits :woot:
