What omission are you most disappointed about?

Post » Mon Sep 19, 2011 11:57 pm

I know these discussions have been beaten to death, but I'm really curious what annoys you, disappoints you the most. I'm really excited to play Skyrim, but I just get frustrated thinking about all of the things I listed above. Primarily the first two bother me the most. I feel like if the first two were in the game, I wouldn't have anything to really complain about. I would just accept any minor omissions or changes they have made for Skyrim. But since the first two are not present, everything else just kind of adds up and creates a lot of frustration and disappointment.

So what disappoints you the most?

Biased poll... There needs to be an option for Nothing...

On topic: Nothing, I couldn't care less about any of the stuff they removed...

Nothing. I'm seriously glad they got rid of most of those classes/attributes. Besides that, those aren't things I'll miss too much anyways.

Most of my characters tend to be Mages, or fashionable rogues, so cuirass and greaves doesn't bum me out.

I'm not sure why they took off armor/weapon degradation (so smithing is only for MAKING not FIXING?). I might miss the attributes but we'll see.

I wasn't meaning to show bias. I added "nothing" as an option.

attributes i can get over, they always bogged the game experaince up for me anyways. Armor/weapons being damaged svcks, but the ability to improve them and such at smiths makes up for that. But the conjoined armor crap? no.

As a big mage person, I can honestly say that the lack of spellmaking is the only disappointment for me, and thats only slightly.

Smithing is for refining ore, making it into something(like armor), and then updating your armor with leather straps and other things to make it more powerful.

They said that the UI is not final. None of the screenshots or videos we have seen are the final UI. It's been confirmed by Todd that you'll be able to compare items by weight, strength, etc. etc., it just hasn't been implemented yet.

Weapon and armour degradation, happy it's gone. Sure it made things a little more challenging but it was always just annoying to me. Spellmaking, never used it in the first place so I don't know. Armour and greaves being conjoined, this svcks. No locational damage, sorta svcks. Attribute removal, don't mind. Removal of traditional class system, dont mind.

But someone just said there's no more arena?... BINGO. That is what I hate most.

Spellmaking, but it isn't a deal breaker or anything. I can probably just make custom spells in the construction set anyway.
