I know most of you all have multiple characters which you use differently, but when you play Skyrim what quests do you start first? For me it goes like this:

1. Companions is always first (even before talking to the Jarl of Whiterun).

2. Civil war always is completed before the main quest (my Redguard is in the Legion, I have a Nord that will be a stormcloak).

3. Dragonborn is after the mainquest.

Everything else sort of varies in between.

* My first Data I did the Thieves guild last (be me and my PC were bored).

* Usually I do the college of Winterhold before the Civil War but it doesn't really matter.

* I started dawnguard during the Civil War this time.

What about you all? Are you noticing any patterns in your play style?

i usually start the mq first if i plan on being dragonborn, i will take it as far as being summoned by the greybeards and then from there i will start doing my own thing, my current character finished the civil war at this point, then completed the mq, then dragonborn, then companions(i kinda wish i would have done these earlier being a werewolf svcks at high level, so i got it cured asap) now im working on my HF house and chasing down word walls until Dawnguard drops on ps3

No real order. It sometimes takes me awhile to get a feel for a character and decide where they're going to fit in my larger Skyrim canon, but I don't always do the quest I associate with them first.

What I want, when I want. That's how I roll.

My playthroughs start out the same usually.
1. Get Atronarch Stone
2. Agent of Mara quest
3. The black star
4. Lost to the ages
5. Get Lord stone
6. Now ready to play
