What other races could be added?

.. by which I mean races that would be ES lore-friendly (eg not gnomes). And what should their attributes and play-style be?

I would think dremora would be interesting. Or, perhaps dwemer or akaviri?

Except the dremora are sided with the daedra of course, the dwemer are in some other dimension and the Akaviri may be part of an update reliving the Akaviri invasion.

Or are they...

Maybe they were abducted by aliens?

...okay, too much Ancient Aliens has been brainwashing me...

None.

Seriously, let's see some more classes before races. Only 4?? I'd would like to see more traditional TES classes.

The most likely candidates, if Zenimax and Bethesda are feeling brave, would be the Akaviri races, which would also be justified by virtue of having an obvious faction concept. While others exist, they're either unsuitable for PCs (Sload, Ayleid, etc) or simply too minor to put in an appearance alongside the others (Ayleid, Lilmothiit, etc).

Snow Elves would also be interesting, but highly unlikely for this era. Plus, they used them in Skyrim.

First, there were the divine Eight - Argonian, Breton, Dark Elf, High Elf, Khajiit, Nord, Redguard and Wood Elf. Then came the Imperials, and the Orcs became friendly enough to be playable. All major population groups of Tamriel has been covered.

If any new race is to be added, I imagine it will have to come from outside Tamriel. Perhaps the Akavir.

Have you watched Ancient Aliens debunked? Besides from highlighting the utter rubbish they claim, there is a really interesting theory about how the Pyramids may have been built.

I don't know, dremora are purely evil immortal servants, wouldn't make sense. dwemer are long gone. akaviri aren't a race though, theres multiple different races in akavir.

I think it would be really really hard to make snake people a playable reality without looking stupid, same goes for the monkey people. and the tiger people are pretty much like khajiit.

Im gona go with no new races, spend that money/time on making content in pvp/pve/crafting/exploring imo.

My question would be what would adding an additional race achieve?

They've already added the essential starting races (10 of them!!) I would much prefer focus on other content than additional race skins.

No, I haven't. And, for the record, I view AA as a comedy, because I can't stop laughing when I watch it.

I gathered, if you took it seriously I doubt you would joke about it. But it's a good watch and the debunked version is an even better watch. I was just saying... thought you might be interested.

How are monkeys and snakes so much different from cats and lizards? Especially monkeys, they're almost human. Tsaesci would me more tricky because they don't have legs, but it's not impossible. Their roll away animation would be... slither away or something.

because as you said snakes don't have legs, it'd just end up being funny.

as for apes it would be easier, but there is no contact with them as far as lore goes, they have never been to tamriel. so writing them into the game without [censored] up a bunch of stuff is impossible. goes for any akaviri race.

I wasn't laughing when I saw Doshia. :(

I don't really want them as playable races, I'm fine with what we have. But if ZOS decided to go that route, make an expansion set in Akavir or whatever, it's workable. They're also the most likely new races should we ever get any - most Tamrielic races are extinct/degenerated, Sload are even more problematic than Tsaesci, Imga are, um, Imga. This leaves what, Maormer?

No thanks, I like having graphics... lol... if they DO add them, PLEASE give us mini-maps, would be a royal pain to adventure around otherwise...
