I'm very relieve to know Fallout 4 will have a weather system. I've even heard about some kind of radiation storm being inn Fallout 4 as well. I hope we get other types of weather in Fallout 4?

anything that you would expect, including realy bad weather. So Rain, wind, lightning storms, sun, cloudy, you name it. Some nice extreme stormy weather might be fun to, maybe a sand storm out in the wastes beyond anny buildings and such. The only think i would maybe not expect is snow and hail
It's Boston, there should be SEASONS. Unless the world/climate was tossed really off kilter by the war.....
I like all these ideas, I'd love for some of them to affect your gear too. Energy weapons in poor condition in the rain, might shock you.. greater chance of gun jamming during/after sandstorm.. things of that nature
I was thinking the same thing. Nothing says Northeast like a winter snow storm. I understand seasons were implemented in Skyrim during a post-release dev test; I don't see why they couldn't do them for FO4 four years later. They'd definitely add a lot to the game. I can understand the argument that not everyone would see them--but if you start the game in late summer, most players should make it to winter; I've had Morrowind games last over a year, and my last FNV game was over six months. A change in seasons in the Mojave might not mean much, but it should in Boston.
Have they said anything about how weather is just a cosmetic sort of thing or do we also get some weather effects akin to emissions from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ?
I would be surprised if we didn't see some snow effects given what they did with Skyrim, they already have the capability of implementing it so why not use it. As for how it fits into the story, contextually it makes sense that there might be sections of nuclear winter.
I'd rather like certain storms that force you to take shelter or construct temporary shelter.
