Actually, manequins plotting to kill me would be an improvement.
I am an exception, since I don't care to "live" in my houses. Not much of an immersionist, I'm afraid. But, I would use a house mod were it useful.
Sorted storage of all kinds. Alchemy tables, work benches, all that good stuff.
If you could build a gameworld map table and I could place pins in it in-game (as opposed to in-menu screen), you would win house modding forever.
How about a door frame with notches in it, and the notches keep track of how many orcs you kill? (or whatever creature you set it to)
