What platform are you getting Skyrim on?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:36 pm

I'm getting it on PC for sure for the better graphics on mods. If you have a strong enough PC get it on PC when it comes out of course.

In no way I'm going to lose mod support for this masterpiece.

Welp, my computer strains under oblivion and the ol' xbox melted, so...

Hopefully I can buy a new PC by the time it comes out. :D

Everyone is entitled to play the game on whatever they want but... I can't help but think that if you played it on anything but a PC you'd be doing it a disservice

svcks for those of us with no money and bad PC's. But the tweet from Pete Hines said all the gameplay in the trailer was shot on the Xbox 360, so there is hope.

i'll get it and beat it on the 360. then i'll get the game of the year pc version of skyrim and start modding and making models for it. will give me time to upgrade my system a bit.

I chose xbox. My system could easily handle it, but I enjoy having the controller in my hands and sitting back, becoming immersed.

No Other? I plan to get the collectors edition for PC and the regular edition for Xbox 360.
PC- Mods and better graphics
Xbox 360- I like a controller over a keyboard, but if the computer implements controllers well, I won't bother to get the Xbox version.
I did not say PS3, as I do not own one, I don't dislike the PS3, I just have an Xbox because it was cheaper when I got it. (No hating/flaming)

PC. I plan to actually use the high resolution of my HDTV. 1280x720 does not look pretty when upscaled to 1920x1080.

TES is still a fun experience on consoles, but PC just offers a better experience plus mod support. I modded Morrowind to death, and then I modded Oblivion to death. For me, it simply won't be the same series unless I play it on PC.

I was going to vote, but not the way it's worded. It's to one sided.. I suggest change it before the thread gets locked. I wanted to vote 360, for personal reasons. I do not want to vote 360 because it gets DLC before PS3 or PC. This will start a :flamethrower: war.

But I will be buying for the 360.

Xbox, but not because it'll get any DLC sooner, but because I actually only own an Xbox.

PC for life. I just like a mouse and keyboard so much more for games like this. I own both a PS3 and 360, but I do most of my gaming on PC. I actually own Oblivion on both the 360 and PC and the PC version is a million times better.
