What platform should I buy Skyrim on?

I have already preordered skyrim for pc, BUT THEN...Rage came out and it is basically unplayable. do you think i should cancel my pre order and go Xbox?
i have a [censored] SD tv and newer games only design them for HDTVs so i cant read small writing. do u think i should stick with PC knowing that there could be major problems at launch?

PC. The problems will not be any worse than on consoles. and you can fix it yourself with mods if you really need to. instead of praying that BGS releases a patch.

I'm buying it for Xbox because I find it more immersive. And I don't ruin it with mods and dev cheats.

My computer is more than qualified to run it, but Xbox first for me. Then PC.

My first instinct is to say PC, but on the other hand that is going to require a decent PC to get a truly enjoyable experience.
I'd say this, wait for the PC specs to be released next week, if you meet or exceed the minimums, go for PC, if not, go XBOX.

Different games, different tech, different developers - only the publisher was the same. Make of that what you will .

Honestly, if you're seriously worried about bugs at launch, why pre-order in the first place? Skyrim might be fine on PC and rubbish on Xbox, we just have no way of knowing. I'd suggest (seriously, not facetiously), that if this is a big issue for you then you should cancel your pre-order and wait for a few reviews to come out before deciding. If you absolutely must have the game the moment it's released, then stick with what you've ordered, and chalk it up to experience if there are problems.
