Since I've decided that I can't buy a PC this year, I'll be buying a 360 instead just for Skyrim. :)

PC. Don't own a console (besides SNES). But if I owned x360 or ps3 I would still get for PC. The mods that are created are the number one reason. The second reason are the enhanced graphics and the third is I like mouse + keyboard much better than controllers.

While I had Oblivion on the pc, it didn't run well because I don't have a beefy computer. This time I'll be getting it on the PS3. I will enjoy the enhanced graphics much more because I won't have to dumb it down for my hunk of crap computer. How about you?
PC, and as soon as I get some info on specs, I will upgrade! Been saving up :D

I wish I could get it on my PC. But it is a weak laptop. And seeing as im 16 I dont have the money for a quality gaming computer. So I will be on the 360.

Xbox for games mac for internet. Was playing DnD in 1979, was writing programs on a Commodore PET in 1982, and yet I still play games on an xbox. Looks like I broke the casual/hardcoe argument before many of its exponents were in nappies.

oh wait, you didn't know??
owning a four billion dollar pc and telling the world about it on the internet is the only way to be a hardcoe gamer now

I went with Xbox because my PC just cant handle such a good looking game but if I had the money I would but a better PC and play this there but sadly there are just too many games coming this year for me to invest in a good PC

Having started with Morrowind GOTY on the XBOX and thoroughly believing back then that nothing could ever get better, I can instantly empathize with console gamers. To each his own. My own perspective, however, is that a TES installment on the PC combined with mods of personal interest is, in every possible way, gaming perfection.

PC

If Skyrim can deliver, I have no problem upgrading for it (If I even need to). For the amount of time I wasted expended on Oblivion (PC) I could spend thousands before I exeeded the dollar/hour rate of most of my Xbox games.

I'm getting Skyrim on the 360, if only because I always try and buy a game for the lead platform, it only makes sense.

This game and the many mods to come make the obvious choice, the PC. I'm sure Skyrim will force me to upgrade many times in the coming years, as Oblivion has.

To my extreme sadness, due to lack of funds for a PC upgrade I will have to be getting the PS3 version until I win a large sum of money or someone takes great pity on me and buys me a new PC, which I don't see either happening any time soon.

I'd like to play Skyrim on the PC, but right now, a car is more important to save for.

With this an the new Deus Ex coming out this year I'm getting a shiny new PC. I'll be getting it for "work", though. Ha ha I love having work and play so closely related :). Oh and modding is also a big reason. Can't wait to get my hands on the new Dwemer assets.

. "Attacking Xbox players, PS3 players or PC players is not allowed and calling them "console kiddies" or in anyway indicating someone is in some way a lesser person because of their choice is considered a flame here"

:)

Just thought I'd warn you before the mods really warn you.

Just a quick question, as someone who's played the previous titles on PC, could anyone tell me what the experience of playing Oblivion on console was like, or must I sell my soul for a super computer?

It was good, I spent a couple hundred hours on Oblivion, although I'm sure I could put a couple hundred more in through mods. Still worth it regardless.
