What platform will you use?

While I had Oblivion on the pc, it didn't run well because I don't have a beefy computer. This time I'll be getting it on the PS3. I will enjoy the enhanced graphics much more because I won't have to dumb it down for my hunk of crap computer. How about you?

Xbox for games mac for internet. Was playing DnD in 1979, was writing programs on a Commodore PET in 1982, and yet I still play games on an xbox. Looks like I broke the casual/hardcoe argument before many of its exponents were in nappies.

I always play Elder Scrolls games on the PC.

I've been meaning to pick up a new computer anyway so I can play other games like The Witcher 2.

As of now, PS3. Because my computer would probably blow up if I tried to run Skyrim.

Hopefully I'll have the dough to make an upgrade to this beautiful machine.

Wow. Insecure, much? :P (don't answer)

One would almost think it's on the verge of sarcasm.

PC all the way for me, I have to buy a new motherboard, a new CPU and some new RAM though (have an old Intel C2D E6300). But not until I've played it though, it may work.

PS3. I've been streamlining my gaming collection and it involves ditching the 360, I just don't play enough to warrant having both anymore. I would get a nice PC and use it as the hub for everything (now I'm working full time) by putting a blu-ray drive in it, but I'd rather spend my money on a holiday this year. PS3 will do the job well enough for me.

PC, as always. Prefer the graphics, prefer the moddability, prefer the control setup.

PC. The vote is biased though since probably many "console only" guys may not check in very often.

If I can manage to save some money and build my ideal gaming PC before release, I'll play PC (with a 360 controller). If not, then I guess Xbox I go then.

yeah. of course more people would say pc on a WEBSITE. lol. If this poll were put in a more neutral place like a magazine, I'm sure we'd have a more realistic idea of who would be playing what.

People still buy gaming magazines? :\
I'm sure console users can figure out this new fangled internet thing just as well as the rest of us.

PS3. There's no way my PC would ever be able to handle Oblivion, let alone Skyrim. I would buy a new computer for Skyrim, if I had the money.

Sadly, I'll be going with the Xbox, but that's only because I don't have a good enough rig to run it on PC. Half of the hardware in my tower is from the late 90's. :sadvaultboy:

Unless Skyrim is able to best my 3.6ghz quad-core, 12GB of RAM, and NVIDIA GTX 580, then PC.

If for some reason those specs only allow me to run it on medium, Xbox 360. I would get it on PS3, but I don't have one.

Though I will definitely miss the mods if I go the console route. :cryvaultboy:

i voted ps3, because i love playing IV on ps3, however i have a feeling that i might also play on pc. maybe start from day 11 on ps3, then when it wins and releases GOTY get that on pc, and finally see first hand what the modding community has to offer.
